While The Adam Project is the most-viewed English-speaking film for the second week in a row, Swedish thriller Black Crab has already taken the top spot in the non-English film category after premiering last Friday, with a total of 35.9 million hours viewed. Its main star, Noomi Rapace — who has appeared in several Netflix titles including What Happened to Monday and The Trip — portrays Caroline Edh, a speed skater turned soldier in a frigid, postapocalyptic world. “This [film] was a combination of things I love. I love a good action-drama, but it had a really strong visual language and it was very poetic,” Rapace recently told Tudum. Black Crab marks the actor’s return to Swedish cinema after an 11-year hiatus.

Another drama-packed title that made its way into the Global Top 10 for English-speaking TV is Bad Vegan: Fame. Fraud. Fugitives. The docuseries also premiered last Friday and follows the swindling saga of New York restaurateur turned fugitive Sarma Melngailis. In Korea, Season 1 of the rom-com series Business Proposal leads as the most-watched non-English series. Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, the K-drama features a star-studded cast, including Ahn Hyo-seop, Kim Se-jeong and Kim Min-gue.
