In May 2005, a group of high school students from a small town in Alabama celebrated their graduation with an Aruba vacation they’d remember forever — but one student never showed up for the return flight home. Natalee Holloway’s sudden disappearance set off widespread media coverage and an island-wide search that only came to a conclusion in 2023. Now, for the first time, Natalee’s mother, Beth Holloway, tells the full, definitive story of the case that’s haunted her for the past 20 years — from the day of Natalee’s disappearance to a dramatic confession two decades later.

From directors Dani Sloane (The Menendez Brothers, Girl in the Picture) and Matthew Galkin (Murder in Big Horn, One Night In Idaho: The College Murders) comes a three-part documentary series that will revisit the case through the eyes of those closest to Natalee, revealing forgotten moments, previously unreported elements in the case, and its lasting impact. With exclusive access to investigators, never-before-seen footage, and previously unreleased audio of Natalee’s family and friends, and the FBI, this series dives into the tragic story that dominated national news and a mother’s unrelenting search for truth and justice. It was produced by Story Syndicate; Liz Garbus, Dan Cogan, Jon Bardin, Dani Sloane, and Tommy Coriale are the executive producers.
