If you’re Albert Wesker (Lance Reddick), you tell your daughters Jade (Tamara Smart) and Billie (Siena Agudong) to flee while you slather yourself in blood. As for what the Weskers are escaping from and whose — or what’s — blood is on the ground, that’s for you to discover in this clip from the new Resident Evil series.
The live-action series is an original story from Supernatural writer Andrew Dabb. The show redefines the world of the popular video game franchise. It follows an adult Jade Wesker (Ella Balinska) as she struggles to survive in a world in which the populace has been transformed by the Umbrella Corporation’s T-virus into mindless Infected.
This clip takes place pre-apocalypse, but if that pool of blood is a preview of what’s to come, things are going to get a lot worse for the Weskers — and mankind. Check it out below:
