Dog lovers, beware: The new Resident Evil series is coming for Fido. In a new clip from the upcoming series, sisters Jade and Billie Wesker (Tamara Smart and Siena Agudong) struggle to evade an Infected Doberman. For fans of the original video games, it’s a familiar sight: T-virus-exposed canines have been a fixture of the series since the very first game.
The new series borrows plenty of designs from the games (including the dog, and the series’ iconic “lickers”), but showrunner Andrew Dabb (Supernatural) is telling a whole new story. Ella Balinska and Adeline Rudolph star as the older versions of Jade and Billie, respectively, and Lance Reddick plays their father, Albert Wesker. They’ll all have to learn to survive the apocalypse after the T-virus is unleashed worldwide — and some (Infected) animals may be harmed.
