“You will never find the One Piece,” a mysterious woman with pigtails informs Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) before winding her arm back to stab him.
That’s right: Our favorite Straw Hats are coming back for ONE PIECE: Into the Grand Line, the second season of the live-action adaptation of the popular manga. And if the brand-new teaser is any indication, they have some terrifying foes to contend with. In the thrills-packed preview above, we find Luffy, Nami (Emily Rudd), Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu), Sanji (Taz Skylar), and Usopp (Jacob Romero) put to the test by a pack of assassins known as Baroque Works.
Among them is Miss All-Sunday (Lera Abova), who coyly tells Luffy at one point, “You might think you’re unstoppable, but your friends aren’t made of rubber.”

Joining the menacing Miss All-Sunday are Miss Wednesday (Charithra Chandran of Bridgerton fame), Mr. 3 (David Dastmalchian), Mr. 5 (Camrus Johnson), Miss Valentine (Jazzara Jaslyn), Mr. 9 (Daniel Lasker), and Miss Goldenweek (Sophia Anne Caruso).
The show’s upcoming season, which debuts on March 10, promises “fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests yet,” according to the official synopsis. “Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line — a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.”

It’s not all baddies joining ONE PIECE’s roster in the coming season. Expect the introduction of the series’ cutest and furriest new cast member: Tony Tony Chopper. Known for being a blue-nosed reindeer-boy hybrid, Chopper (voiced by Mikaela Hoover) loves compliments and can cure any disease. (You can watch his official reveal here.) He was first introduced in the ONE PIECE manga’s 134th chapter.
“What excited me about playing Chopper is the tug of war between his standoffishness and his huge heart,” Hoover, who also provides facial capture for Chopper, tells Tudum. “He tries so hard to hide his emotions and put on a tough exterior, but underneath, he’s a big softy, and his love can’t help but come out.”
The reindeer-boy even got a shout-out from series creator Eiichiro Oda, who praised Chopper’s live-action counterpart.
“The key to Season 2 is, of course, our weird talking animal. After extensive trial and refinement by the entire team, the day has come to finally unveil him!!” Oda shared in a post on X. “From his form and furs to his expressions and voice, and even lighting and gravity simulation –– a world-class team brought their skills together in bringing Tony Tony Chopper to life, and now he’s ready to be introduced to the world!!”
