Jennifer Lopez, a longtime reigning queen of rom-coms, is back in a sexy new film with a title that says it all: Office Romance, premiering June 5. The summer movie follows workaholics Jackie Cruz (Lopez) — a perfectionist CEO, whose employees are scared to even breathe around — and Daniel Blanchflower (Brett Goldstein) — the company's ambitious new lawyer — who fall hard for each other at work. Despite their insatiable chemistry, the colleagues try to keep their relationship as professional as possible. But longing boardroom glances soon become raunchy island romps — and Jackie finds herself in danger of losing her company, as seen in the trailer above.

A smiling couple walks hand in hand on a sandy beach, surrounded by tropical trees, each carrying picnic baskets, enjoying a sunny, relaxing day outdoors.

The question at the heart of Office Romance? Is risking it all for NSFW love worth jeopardizing everything you’ve built?

To Goldstein, who co-wrote the romantic-comedy with Joe Kelly, the connection between the characters felt unmistakably genuine on set. “Every day I come to work to do a rom-com with Jennifer Lopez and this incredible cast, and I expect people to jump out and tell me I’m being pranked,” Goldstein said during filming. “Hasn’t happened yet, so maybe this is real?”

The Office Romance cast also includes Betty Gilpin, Amy Sedaris, Tony Hale, Bradley Whitford, and many more. Directed by Ol Parker (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again), the film reunites Lopez with Edward James Olmos, who famously played her father in the 1997 film Selena — he steps back into that paternal role once again. Lopez, Goldstein, and Kelly are also producers, along with Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, and Benny Medina. Pamela Thur and Courtney Baxter are executive producers.

When does Office Romance premiere?

The charming rom-com debuts on June 5. Set a reminder for the film below, with the Remind Me button.

The video previews the flirtation and tension ahead, as the duo try to deny their feelings … only to end up in sultry locales and forbidden workplace encounters. Jackie and Daniel must figure out how to deal with all the trouble they get into when they finally start thinking with their hearts. At least Jackie’s BFF, Sydney (Gilpin), is keeping close watch on this love story — and Daniel has his sister, Lizzy (Jodie Whittaker), to turn to for advice from an unexpected perspective.

Two people in business attire sit in a modern office, smiling and talking across a glass desk with books, lamp, and water bottle. Office has beige walls, framed art, and stylish decor in a professional setting.
