At the end of Season 6, Kate and Anne had just mended their friendship when Heather purposely hit Anne with her car. This season, Anne wakes up in the hospital to her husband, Lionel, and Kate by her side, and Anne seems a bit too happy given the circumstances. Sloane is back at work — with her baby in tow — and is committed to making it work, despite pushback from her colleagues and clients. Kate Foster PR is trying all angles on a campaign for a new male birth control — and Kate’s husband, Nathan, signs up to try it. Jenny — who broke up with Malcolm (aka MCP) last season and quit her job — demands Kate hire her despite being incapable of professionalism. And Anne, who’s taking dangerous risks she suddenly finds invigorating — like buying a tarantula — refuses to report Heather for attempting to kill her.
The series takes place in Toronto.
