Prepare for beheadings, betrayals and a quest for vengeance that might just unlock your inner 1,000-year-old Viking. That’s right, Vikings: Valhalla is here to take you on a high-stakes adventure. Since a fearless warrior can’t head into battle on an empty stomach, we thought we’d introduce you to this recipe for everything bagel smoked fish spread, complete with buttery crackers, toast, and cucumber and carrot spears. It’s sure to fortify you while you devour the season whole — taking no prisoners, of course.
Mercifully, this recipe doesn’t involve any actual cooking on your behalf; you have a quest to focus on, after all. Just grab some smoked salmon and your favorite kitchen knife (or sword) and get to chopping. Battle awaits.

8 ounces smoked salmon 1 lemon, zested, and then cut into wedges for serving 16 ounces whipped cream cheese 1 cup plain Greek yogurt ¼ cup everything bagel seasoning, plus more for serving (if you can’t find it pre-mixed, just combine equal parts dried onion flakes, dried minced garlic, black and white sesame seeds, poppy seeds and flaked sea salt) ¼ cup fresh dill, roughly chopped, plus more for serving Extra-virgin olive oil, for serving Buttery crackers, toasts, cucumber and carrot spears
First, throw your epic Viking beard over your shoulder — gotta keep your workspace clean — and then finely chop the smoked salmon. Next, add the salmon to a bowl along with the lemon zest, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, everything bagel seasoning and fresh dill. Mix it all together, before transferring the spread to a serving dish. Garnish it with a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil and an extra sprinkling of everything bagel seasoning and fresh dill. Serve with buttery crackers, toasts, cucumber and carrot spears. Skål!
