In Season 3 of Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black the Bellaries’ carefully constructed world is more fragile than ever.

In Season 2, the Bellaries’ polished façade began to crack as a life‑threatening “accident,” a high‑stakes hospital battle, and Delinda’s Dolls and Dudes exposed just how much of their success depended on secrets, exploitation, and lies. By the end of Part 2, new alliances were forged, old ones were shattered, and the family’s underground trafficking network was closer than ever to blowing up their reputation.

In Season 3, now streaming on Netflix, the family’s hair‑care dynasty still towers over Chicago’s social ladder, but the empire that once seemed untouchable is starting to buckle under the weight of betrayal, addiction, and years of buried crimes. Make It Rain, the rebranded Delinda’s Dolls and Dudes, has become both a symbol of new beginnings and the epicenter of fresh danger, as old debts and new enemies collide on its stage.

Season 3 plunges the Bellaries and everyone orbiting them deeper into a war for survival, legacy, and control. Read on to meet the key players as they fight to hold on to their power, their secrets, and, for some, their lives.

Taylor Polidore Williams

as Kimmie
About the Character

Exotic dancer Kimmie once dreamed of becoming a successful entrepreneur like her hero, Beauty in Black’s Mallory. In the process of chasing that dream, she married into the Bellarie dynasty and stepped inside their world for real.

In Season 3, Kimmie is no longer at the mercy of other people’s decisions, she’s making her own. Married to Horace and newly elevated inside the Bellarie world, she’s learning to navigate boardrooms, back rooms, and family politics with the same instinct that once kept her safe onstage. As opportunity and danger start to look the same, Kimmie must figure out how far she’s willing to go to protect the people she loves and the life she’s determined not to lose.

“The more power you have, it just amplifies what was already in you,” Williams tells Tudum about her character’s transformation. “And this is one of the darker sides of her being amplified by the power and resources she has now.”

As her loyalty to Kimmie and love for Sylvie collide with old debts and new enemies, Rain is forced to decide what — and who — she’s willing to sacrifice to protect her new empire.

Crystle Stewart

as Mallory
About the Character

Entrepreneur Mallory wasn’t born with a silver spoon in her mouth, but after marrying Roy Bellarie, she’s become the face of the Beauty in Black brand — and wields all the power that comes with being a Bellarie.

In Season 3, Mallory’s polished image as the company’s powerhouse executive starts to crack under the weight of family secrets, corporate crises, and a marriage in free fall. As the stakes around her grow more dangerous, Mallory is forced to decide how much of her soul she’s willing to spend to keep her place at the top.

“Every decision comes with a cost,” Stewart tells Tudum of Mallory’s fight to maintain control. “By the end, she’s no longer just reacting to chaos, she stands as someone who’s willing to make incredibly difficult choices to survive.”

Ricco Ross

as Horace
About the Character

Family patriarch Horace started the Beauty in Black brand and is at the center of its orbit — which means he holds the purse strings. The rest of the Bellaries are forced to fall in line behind him, whether they agree with his decisions or not.

In Season 3, the man who once seemed untouchable finds his own body and empire under attack, forcing him to confront enemies both inside his family and far beyond it. As long‑buried secrets surface and old debts come due, Horace doubles down on his ruthless methods, even as the cost of staying on top grows more personal than ever.

Debbi Morgan

as Olivia
About the Character

Horace’s ex‑wife Olivia may be on the outside of the marriage, but she still sees herself as the true Bellarie matriarch.

In Season 3, her appetite for risk and money finally catches up with her, pulling her into dangerous debts and legal trouble she can’t charm her way out of. Even with her power fading and her children paying the price for her choices, Olivia refuses to play victim, and she’s still convinced she can outmaneuver anyone, including the people holding all the cards.

About the Character

Horace’s brother Norman is the family’s charming monster. In Season 3, his web of blackmail, trafficking, and quiet threats is revealed to be at the center of much of the Bellarie corruption. As his secrets start to unravel, Norman stops hiding in the shadows and comes straight for the people he blames, turning old grudges into open war inside the family.

Steven G. Norfleet

as Charles
About the Character

Horace and Olivia’s elder son, Charles, is the heir who doesn’t fit the Bellarie mold: a gay, sensitive son in a family that treats vulnerability as weakness.

In Season 3, the weight of his secrets, addictions, and his father’s contempt pushes him to the edge, forcing a brutal reckoning with what he’s done and what’s been done to him. With Attorney Varney as his unlikely lifeline, Charles has to decide whether to keep repeating the family’s patterns or  try to finally break them.

Julian Horton

as Roy
About the Character

Horace and Olivia’s younger son, Roy, grew up with every advantage, a powerful last name, and now has a high‑profile marriage to Mallory, but he’s still the family’s most spectacular mess.

In Season 3, his charm and entitlement collide with a spiraling drug addiction and the bitter realization that he’s been getting scraps while everyone else cashes in. As legal pressure and withdrawal close in, Roy has to face whether he’s been used by his family or has been helping to destroy himself all along.

Charles Malik Whitfield

as Jules
About the Character

Once Horace’s trusted enforcer, former cop Jules knows every crack in the Bellarie empire because he helped create most of them.

Jules is still reeling from the death of his son Glen in Season 2, and in Season 3, his grief hardens into a cold, methodical drive for revenge. As he plays law enforcement, the streets, and the family against each other, Jules quietly becomes one of the series’ most dangerous power players.

as Varney
About the Character

Attorney Varney is the family’s loyal legal counsel — the man you call when you need a problem buried, not solved. In Season 3, his newly exposed romantic history with Charles collides with his duty to the Bellarie empire.

Caught between his feelings for Charles, his obligation to Horace, and his own survival, Varney’s polished legal veneer barely hides how dirty his hands have become.

About the Character

In Season 3, his loyalty to Rain and Kimmie pulls him deeper into the Bellarie web, even as Jules and Officer Trackson (George Middlebrook) mark him for payback. Forced to choose which lines he won’t cross, and which ones he already has, Alex walks a razor’s edge where one wrong move could cost him his badge, his freedom, or his life.
