Get ready to take a peek inside Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities with a cryptic look at the Oscar-winning director’s upcoming horror anthology. As part of Geeked Week, we’ve got a teaser that confirms the star-studded and expansive cast of the new series — as well as the filmmakers that will help bring these stories to life.

That cast includes (*deep breath*) Eric André, Ben Barnes, Sofia Boutella, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Essie Davis, Crispin Glover, Rupert Grint, Andrew Lincoln, Kate Micucci, Tim Blake Nelson, Peter Weller, Charlyne Yi and more. The series’ eight stories are curated by Del Toro and based on a few horror stories of his own creation, as well as some of his favorites from other writers like H.P. Lovecraft. The episodes will be directed by some of horror’s most exciting voices, from David Prior (The Empty Man) to Jennifer Kent (The Babadook).

In between, there are stories from Panos Cosmatos (Mandy), Keith Thomas (The Vigil), Vincenzo Natali (Splice), Ana Lily Amirpour (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night) and Del Toro’s Oscar-winning cinematographer Guillermo Navarro.

On top of all that, Del Toro told TheWrap last year that he’d be introducing each episode, Hitchcock style. Between his upcoming Pinocchio stop-motion adaptation and Cabinet of Curiosities, it’s shaping up to be a very Guillermo Del Toro 2022: Both are scheduled to drop on Netflix this year.

Geeked Week is a celebration of Netflix's immersive slate of storytelling across sci-fi, fantasy, gaming, anime and more. Check out the full schedule here. For more, follow Netflix Geeked on Twitter.
