You’re not ready for what’s coming next in Volume 2 of Stranger Things Season 4.
With the final two episodes of the season coming to Netflix July 1 — and the grand finale clocking in at 2 hours and 19 minutes — Volume 2 is set to have higher stakes than ever before for our Hawkins gang.
As Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) warns in the brand-new teaser for Volume 2: “It’s over, Eleven. You have freed me. You can’t stop this now.”

Sure, but when have these ominous threats ever stopped our heroes from at least trying? The teaser shows Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), and Robin (Maya Hawke) with weapons in hand in the Upside Down and Eddie (Joe Quinn) and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) teaming up for combat back-to-back.
We see Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) looking absolutely petrified and Hopper (David Harbour) and Murray (Brett Gelman) staring at dust swirling around that looks more supernatural than it should — plus, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) standing outside of a full-on explosion.
As Matt Duffer told Tudum ahead of the final two episodes, there’s a “sense of dread that pervades the atmosphere” of Season 4. Even to the point where the characters consider, ‘Maybe this isn’t going to work out for us this time.’” And especially heading into the finale, he likes that the viewers and characters themselves are likely “more frightened than they are normally for our characters.”
Steel yourself for the horrors of Vecna in the new teaser for Volume 2 below.
