It’s been 10 years since a mysterious new show steeped in ’80s nostalgia first arrived on our screens.

On July 15, 2016, Stranger Things — created by Matt and Ross Duffer — introduced the gripping story of a boy who vanished into thin air, the friends who searched for answers, a girl with extraordinary powers, and the supernatural conspiracy in their small town of Hawkins, Indiana.

In honor of the 10th anniversary, you’re invited to celebrate the groundbreaking series, which debuted quietly on Netflix and quickly morphed into a global phenomenon. Across five seasons, Stranger Things has earned more than 70 awards worldwide (including 12 Emmys), garnered 1.5 billion views through March 2026, and led to Stranger Things Day, observed by fans annually on Nov. 6.
