🤐 SPOILER ALERT 🤐

Episode 1

“Voulez-Vous Coucher Avec Moi?”

When we last saw Emily Cooper (Lily Collins), she’d just had the best sex of her life… with her good friend’s newly ex-boyfriend. So: Sorry, or not sorry?

Emily’s not sure that she’d take it back if she could, but she’s definitely feeling regret when Camille (Camille Razat) texts to say she wants to talk. Camille isn’t exactly thrilled that Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) has decided to stay in Paris and open his new restaurant Chez Lavaux with backing from Antoine (William Abadie), since she doesn’t think Gabriel intends to fix things with her. (Anything to add here, Emily?)

At Savoir, Luc (Bruno Gouery) has the account for Champère, Camille’s family’s brand of champagne — just as well, since his presentation featuring hot bodies getting hosed down with bottom-shelf champagne just makes Emily daydream about Gabriel. After that illuminating client meeting, Camille, Emily and Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) have lunch. When Camille gets up to visit “La Dame Pipi” (the bathroom attendant), Sylvie immediately turns the screws on Emily: “You’re having an affair with the chef, aren’t you?” Before Emily can deny it, Sylvie further calls her out for having sex with her client — Mathieu Cadault (Charles Martins) — to take her mind off her friend’s boyfriend. Sylvie is living for Emily’s drama.

With all the stunts Savoir has pulled for Pierre Cadault (Jean-Christophe Bouvet), the agency’s other clients keep demanding “noisier.” For the luggage brand Rimowa, Emily suggests a “ringarde” collab with Pierre — something really tacky. Julien (Samuel Arnold) isn’t thrilled about Emily moving in on his client, but she pitches the partnership to Mathieu. He claims to love the very, very noisy finished product, although he’s probably less excited about the suitcase than about packing it for he and Emily’s upcoming getaway to Saint-Tropez.

Since losing her nannying job, Mindy (Ashley Park) has moved into Emily’s chambre de bonne, so that’s her housing sorted (however, uh, cozy things are in the tiny apartment). Her new gig at a cabaret, though, is definitely not everything she’d dreamt of — due to some visa issues, she ends up relegated to the role of La Dame Pipi. However, she does get onstage for one number, which kills — Parisian audiences love drag, BTS and Mindy’s powerhouse vocals.

On the train to Saint-Tropez, Emily dials Gabriel, who’s been locking horns with Antoine over the vibe of their restaurant. She calls their night together a mistake, though Gabriel can’t quite agree. Mistake or not, it’s certainly causing trouble for Emily: Mathieu overhears the convo and ditches her right on the train. Looks like Emily will have an entire Saint-Tropez hotel room to herself.

Episode 2

“Do You Know the Way to Saint-Tropez?”

Emily’s oomfies suss from her updates that she’s solo in Saint-Tropez, and Camille quickly announces her intention to fill the Mathieu-shaped void in Emily’s (already paid-for) hotel room. As she says, Saint-Tropez is ideal for two single gals. Emily calls Mindy for backup; she’s terrified that if she’s alone with Camille, she’ll blurt out “I slept with your boyfriend!” Her new mission is to get Gabriel and Camille back together. Mindy is skeptical (“You’ll have magically unslept with her boyfriend!”), but down for a girls trip regardless.

Emily’s Rimowa x Cadault bag, featuring a giant image of Pierre Cadault’s face, grabs the attention of an influencer in a sun hat and fuzzy green jacket named Grégory Duprée (Jeremy O. Harris). Grégory, who spent ten years in Pierre’s atelier, stages an impromptu photo shoot with the suitcase, which Emily figures is great free publicity. Or not: Both Mathieu and Julien call her — even though it’s illegal in France to work on the weekend! — demanding she get the photos taken down. Emily tries, but Grégory insists on staying petty.

Even though it’s illegal in France to work on the weekend — as we’re reminded many times — Emily checks in at Laurent G., a local beach club that’s supposed to be running a promotion for Champère. Since they’re not, she demands to speak to Laurent G. himself (Arnaud Binard), to whom she demonstrates the proper method of spraying (not drinking!) the stuff. On her way out, she spots a black-and-white photo of a beautiful young woman… wait… it’s Sylvie? Why would there be a random photo of Sylvie in Saint-Tropez?

When the BFFs arrive at Emily’s hotel, the concierge lets Mindy know that her billionaire dad was just there. Mindy plays it off like she knew all along, but is clearly hurt that he didn’t tell her he was in France. The girls drink away their sorrows at some rich art dude’s party where a guy in a jetpack is flying around the pool, and a sloppy-drunk Camille flirts with a model who’s just in from Milan. Emily, who’s never off the clock (even though it’s illegal in France to work on the weekend), drags the others to Laurent G. to check back in on the promotion. Sure enough, it’s still not happening, so Emily, with her American work ethic, interrupts Laurent in the middle of making out with a random woman… wait… it’s Sylvie? And Laurent G. is her husband

More on that wild revelation, and Sylvie’s Ursula Andress moment, in later episodes. In the meantime, it turns out that Grégory is more than an influencer, he’s a rival designer; Pierre is upset enough about Grégory’s post that he wants to cancel the Rimowa partnership, but Julien steps in, and takes the Cadault account away from Emily — fair, since Emily took Rimowa from him.

The morning after the party, Camille is in shambles. At a beautiful chapel where she and Gabriel once shared a romantic moment, Camille admits to Emily that she went home with the model but couldn’t sleep with him — she’s still in love with Gabriel. Emily assures her that there’s still hope for the two of them — Mindy might call this “magical” thinking.

Episode 3

“Bon Anniversaire!”

Emily’s birthday is coming up, and Mindy wants to throw a dinner party, even though neither of them can cook, and their apartment is waaay too small. We admire their can-do spirit. Flustered by an unexpected meeting with Gabriel, Emily invites him — which she convinces herself is so that she can try to get him and Camille back together.

As a birthday treat, Camille invites Emily to a day at a hammam spa with all her naked friends. The conversation naturally gets intimate, and Camille shares some of Gabriel’s lovable quirks, like how he has his initials on his favorite omelet pan. Emily feels another twinge of guilt — Gabriel’s precious pan is sitting on HER stove at home — and blurts to Camille that Gabriel is coming to the dinner party. No drama, she promises. Yeah, okay.

Camille spots Mathieu by chance at a café. Believing Emily’s cover story, she confronts him for standing Emily up in Saint-Tropez and getting her taken off of Pierre’s account. Mathieu says she’s wrong and that Emily is having an affair with someone, but Camille refuses to believe him. The pressure is building…

Deeming Emily’s armfuls of prepackaged food totally unacceptable for a Parisian dinner party, Gabriel takes her to a farmer’s market, where, like right out of a rom-com, the skies open up. They duck out of the rain into an entryway, where Gabriel tells Emily that in French, the words for “lightning clap” mean love at first sight. He’s making things très difficile

Setting up for dinner in the cute courtyard Mindy and Emily found in lieu of their apartment, Camille asks Emily about the “mystery man” in her life. (Can you sense the merde about to hit the fan?!) But the party starts out great. Camille and Gabriel show signs of rekindling their love, and even Sylvie shows up, gifting nonsmoker Emily a cigarette case (ah, Sylvie). But when Camille goes up to Emily’s apartment for more champagne, she spots the omelet pan… and sees Gabriel’s initials. Chekhov’s omelet pan has finally gone off. A seething Camille comes back down to give her toast: “To my boyfriend, who fucked my fake friend.” Mon dieu! She smashes her glass, and storms off.

If there were popcorn, Sylvie would be chomping it, but a cigarette will do.

Emily chases after Camille, but she’s not having it. She asks her: “Did you sleep with Gabriel?” Emily can’t lie anymore; the look on Camille’s face is devastating.

Episode 4

“Jules and Em”

The big news is that Emily has given Gabriel his omelet pan back.

Despite the blowup, Camille is keeping her personal life separate from her business — up to a point. She now demands that her meetings with Savoir be conducted in French, since Emily still speaks like a toddler. Sylvie is only too happy to oblige. After one such meeting, Emily tries to talk to Camille, but she shuts her down: “It doesn’t matter which language we’re speaking, I don’t believe a word coming out of your mouth.” Youch.

At Mindy’s drag bar gig, where she’s still the singing bathroom attendant, a couple of fans, Étienne (Jin Xuan Mao) and Benoît (Kevin Dias), offer her a spot in their band. Their performances turn out to be busking in popular tourist spots, but hey, a gig is a gig, right? Mindy blows away the mimes, contortionists and puppeteers with her rendition of “All By Myself” — did you guys know that in real life, Ashley Park has been nominated for a Tony?

Things continue going downhill for Emily, though. She’s held back in French class: While her former classmates move up to Level 2, she repeats Level 1 with all new students. On her second first day, she pairs up with Petra (Daria Panchenko), who has… questionable taste in fashion, and in writing utensils. Emily and Petra’s coffee and language date turns into a shopping excursion… or, in Petra’s case, shoplifting. Looks like Emily will need a new language partner if she wants to avoid the gendarmerie.

Not only is Emily out a language partner, she’s off the Pierre Cadault account and assigned a seemingly much less sexy client: leeks. As in the vegetable. The leek marketers want to become “the next Brussels sprouts.” Looking for inspiration, Emily buys some leeks from the farmers market and runs into Gabriel, who offers to show her how to bring out the true essence of the humble leek.

Cue the sexiest leek montage ever captured on film. Emily and Gabriel flash each other longing come-hither stares as they sniff, puree and garnish leeks.

But once the aphrodisiacal power of the mighty allium wears off, Emily declares that Gabriel needs to tell Camille that what happened between the two of them didn’t mean anything. Even if Gabriel doesn’t think it’s true, he needs to lie. When, later, he tells Camille he still loves her, it’s not clear whether he means it, or if he’s only saying it because Emily told him to — and Camille’s not buying it yet either.

After a night at the cinema with Luc, where they see Jules and Jim — about a ménage à trois that ends in death and tragedy — Emily gets an idea for how to get through to Camille: Write her feelings in a heartfelt letter. In French. Mindy can’t proofread the letter because she’s busy with the new band, so Emily’s letter is full of Level 1 phrases like, “I am sad that I am naughty.” I find that ridiculously cute, but Camille does not. In her response, Camille writes, “Leave me alone, you illiterate sociopath.” Sylvie has to translate the letter for Emily.

Episode 5

“An Englishman in Paris”

Now that Emily’s secret affair with Gabriel is public, her life is getting more and more complicated. When Camille brings her parents, Louise (Camille Japy) and Gérard (Christophe Guybet), to the Savoir office, mère et père hear for the first time of Gabriel staying in Paris; and worse, of Emily’s betrayal. No wonder Camille didn’t tell her parents, because all of this brings out Louise’s wrath — look out, Emily!

For now, though, Emily’s keeping herself distracted with French class, and her new partner, English banker Alfie (Lucien Laviscount). Alfie is Emily’s opposite when it comes to Paris: a total cynic about the city who says that the “City of Love” fantasy was probably created by an American marketing executive. When Emily tells him that she’s an American marketing executive, Alfie figures he has her pegged as a typical ringarde tourist… but still invites himself to Emily’s party for Chopard’s Happy Hearts bracelets.

Alongside organizing the Chopard soirée, Emily is handling the Chez Lavaux launch and needs some promo photos of Gabriel at work in the kitchen. Trying to create an intimate atmosphere at the shoot, she gets caught up in the moment and ends up diving in for a kiss — despite all her talk about moving on, Emily was definitely the initiator. Sylvie can tell from the photos that Emily’s still in love with Gabriel, and gives her some bad-good advice: Go ahead and jump into a disastrous love affair. “Emily, you’ve got the rest of your life to be as dull as you wish.”

But it’s not that easy to be reckless, at least not when you’re Emily. Camille wants to do lunch, so she can tell an extremely nervous Emily that she’s decided to forgive her — she’s had a chance to think it over, and accepts that Emily had thought they’d broken up when she slept with Gabriel. Great — except that Emily has just kissed Gabriel! Camille wants to make a pact for the sake of their friendship: Neither of them will ever be with Gabriel. Caught up in a different kind of moment, Emily agrees.

Now for some fun! At the Chopard event at the gorgeous Bateaux-Mouche, Emily and Mindy try to set Julien up with Benoît, whom they assume is gay… but actually, Benoît is into Mindy, calling her “totally hot.” (Ashley Park stays winning!) Alfie shows up, surprisingly. He explains to Emily that he’s not letting himself fall in love with the city because he’s only there temporarily — so why commit?

Alfie’s cynicism rubs off on Emily. After the party, Emily shuts down the love affair with Gabriel yet again — she calls it nothing but “a Paris fantasy” that will hurt them both. With tears in his eyes, Gabriel replies, “If you say so.” Emily walks home alone.

Episode 6

“Boiling Point”

Scrolling through the photos from the Chopard soirée, Emily notices that Sylvie shows up in a lot of them — the hot young Dutch event photographer Erik (Søren Bregendal) totally has a crush on her. Sylvie brushes it off — young people annoy her — but as soon as Emily leaves the office, she calls Erik up; he’s very happy to hear from her and asks her out for a drink. Sylvie accepts… just so they can discuss the client’s feedback on the photos. Sure, Sylvie.

Savoir has a new big-budget client: Vespa, who’s promoting a limited-edition scooter designed by Dior. Julien sees an opportunity to get superstar photographer Ellen von Unwerth (playing herself!) to shoot the Vespa campaign. Luckily, her assistant def wants to get with Julien, and Julien seals the deal with Ellen, assuming no one at Savoir would have a problem with getting a celebrity photographer on the campaign… see where this is going?

On their date, Erik tells Sylvie that he’s a fan of “vintage” photography… and older women. The next morning, Sylvie is in a suspiciously good mood, throwing a bag of pastries at Luc and Emily — apparently the “no food in the office” rule doesn’t apply if you’ve just gotten laid.

Sylvie doesn’t attend the Chez Lavaux opening because she has “plans” — yep, bet she does — but it seems the rest of Paris does. Gabriel wanted a 50-guest maximum, but of course Antoine wanted more of a scene. Emily recognizes every influencer there, including the ultimate VIP, the food critic from Le Figaro. Gabriel starts to crack under the pressure. The music gets louder, the crowd drunker. Gabriel goes off on Antoine for turning the restaurant into a nightclub and basically quits. Camille and Emily divide and conquer to get the dudes back on track — Camille talks Gabriel down expertly like a chef-whisperer, and Emily gets Antoine to compromise on waiting until 11 p.m.  to pump up the music. Emily, Gabriel and Camille make a good team. If it were a ménage à trois, it’d be a functional relationship, but it’s not, so…

As for Sylvie’s conflict: It’s also a conflict of interest. She gives Erik the Vespa job just as they’re about to get it on — talk about foreplay and questionable business ethics. Julien had already gotten the client excited about Ellen, which puts an end to Sylvie’s good mood (and the new breakfast pastries ritual). Sylvie has to break the bad news to Erik, and you can see on her face that she half expects him to end things — but it turns out, Erik is genuinely smitten with Sylvie, job or no job. Will Sylvie discover that it’s better to be loved than feared?

In a step toward actually moving on from Gabriel, Emily hijacks Savoir’s prototype of the Vespa and motors off to pick Alfie up from class, proving that she does too have a sense of fun and spontaneity. He looks good on the back of a scooter — like a male Audrey Hepburn.

Episode 7

“The Cook, The Thief, Her Ghost And His Lover”

Emily discovers the least charming aspect of Paris so far: the scarcity of air conditioning. To cool off, Alfie and Emily get drunk before French class, although their terrible grades are a buzzkill. The teacher embarrasses Alfie in front of the whole class for how little he’s learned, but Emily tries to bail him out — using the best French she’s spoken to date. Apparently, the beer helps! Emily goes over to Alfie’s air-conditioned (!!!) apartment “just to cool down”… but things heat up.

Alfie finally opens up: the reason he hasn’t fallen in love with Paris is that he lives in a soulless corporate apartment in an un-charming part of town and has a boring banking job. Still, he “gets serious about things I like” and one of those things is Emily. When he struggles to get Emily’s blouse off, she shouts, “Just rip it!” — listen, we love Gabriel, but the chemistry here is amazing.

The morning after, Emily sneaks out in Alfie’s suit jacket since her top is ruined. Rocking the walk-of-(no)-shame look, she runs into Gabriel and tries to play the jacket off as her own, but he knows what’s up.

From Chicago, Madeline (Kate Walsh) is getting more involved in Savoir business, which Sylvie is none too thrilled about. An at-home exercise bike brand, Pelotech (sound familiar?) is launching internationally, though it’s a very un-French way to exercise. And anyway Emily can’t pay attention to the Pelotech bro’s pitch, because Alfie isn’t responding to her texts. He better not be ghosting our girl!

There is an ocean of difference between Madeline and Sylvie’s personal brands of boss. Madeline is very American with her chunky jewelry and statement necklaces, while Sylvie is pure Gallic chic. They’re like oil and water — or le jour et la nuit. Madeline wants to schedule a weekly progress call, and Sylvie tries to turn away the Pelotech business because it’s not Savoir’s brand. Madeline does not like that. Is this town big enough for the two of them?

Meanwhile, Mindy and Benoît have gotten serious –– no surprise since their recent “Falling Slowly” duet generated major sparks. Even though he’s been afraid to write songs since dropping out of music school, Benoît is working on an original song, inspired by Mindy. They ignore each other’s falafel breath to make out —  the ultimate sign of intimacy.

Emily’s situation with Alfie is turning out less romantic. She’s texted him wayyyy too many times with no response — but maybe he’s not a ghost after all, because Gabriel texts to say that there’s a British dude looking for her at his restaurant. When Emily arrives, Gabriel and Alfie are watching soccer together like old chums. Turns out Alfie lost his phone — well, it was in the pocket of a certain missing suit jacket… Luckily, Alfie remembered that Emily lived near Chez Lavaux. All good, except that now, Gabriel knows Emily lied about the suit.

Gabriel assumes that Alfie is the reason Emily wanted to break things off with him. Emily pretends that he’s right. She’s only half-lying.

Episode 8

“Champagne Problems”

As Camille said all the way back in Season 1, Paris is really like a small town, so it shouldn’t be too surprising that Emily’s two love interests are becoming fast friends. Alfie is obsessed with Gabriel’s restaurant, even taking Emily there for their first romantic date. Gabriel lavishes a huge amount of food on them, but Emily knows it’s not out of generosity. Alfie is so full at the end of the date that he burps straight into Emily’s face, and he’s in no condition for lovemaking. Way to c-block, Gabriel!

At Savoir, we get Emily’s latest viral marketing scheme: How Do You Pop Your Top. It’s a challenge to get followers to post their favorite creative ways to pop a bottle of champagne, starring Camille’s pop, Champère’s père, Gérard. Camille invites Emily to the family château to film the content. We know nothing good happens to Emily at the château, but Mindy urges her to go… partly because she wants the apartment to herself to hook up with Benoît.

Sure enough, Emily’s château weekend starts off with disaster: Gérard’s favorite way of popping a champagne cork is the ol’ sword swipe. Emily asks for take after take, until Gérard slices off his own finger. Une catastrophe! Blood splatters all over Emily’s face, Camille passes out, and Timothée (Victor Meutelet) — Emily’s most shameful hookup ever — has to tear off his shirt to stanch the bleeding.

Papa’s finger is sewn back on and he makes a full recovery — but Louise wants Gabriel to come and give his sympathies to Gérard in person. An odd request, but clearly Louise has ulterior motives. Her plan to reunite Camille and Gabriel looks like it’s working. Being back at the château reminds Gabriel what he loves so much about Camille and her family. Emily should be happy about this — she wants them to get back together, right? — but she doesn’t know how to feel. She leaves early, and to cap off a weird weekend, Timothée chases her taxi to let Emily down gently: “Maybe it’s time for us to move on.” Ok, you literal enfant.

Back in Paris, Sylvie and Erik go on a romantic gelato date, on which they make plans for a sexy rendezvous in Rome (lots more gelato there). But when Erik invites her as his date to a friend’s engagement party much closer to home, it’s too much for Sylvie. She’s worried what her friends will think of her dating someone so much younger, and it’s not until she talks to Antoine’s wife Catherine (Charley Fouquet) that she realizes she has nothing to prove.

Sylvie shows up at the engagement party looking so stunning, she can’t even be put off when the waitress asks, “What will you and your son be having for lunch?” Sylvie replies, “My son will be having me,” and gives Erik a huge kiss. She truly is Mother.

Episode 9

“Scents & Sensibility”

Madeline arrives at Savoir in her leopard print, holding her Starbucks, and Sylvie is not feeling her. Madeline brings her American, profit-focused mindset to a very French company, and questions why Maison Lavaux’s fees to Savoir haven’t increased even though their business has grown so much. Clearly, she has no idea of the “history” Antoine has with Sylvie… until Antoine’s wife Catherine spills all to Madeline at Lavaux’s scent-sampling party. Perhaps this is revenge for all those years of sitting by and watching Sylvie’s affair with her husband?

At the same party, another bomb drops: Luc lets slip to Alfie about Emily’s sordid history with his new bestie Gabriel. When Alfie confronts Emily, she promises that Gabriel is in the past. Alfie shows some uncharacteristic vulnerability; he wants to believe that what he and Emily have is real, not just a year-in-Paris thing. Emily kisses him to show that she feels the same way, but we’ll have to see if she’s really telling her truth.

Madeline is shook by the Sylvie revelations — she’s not even sure if Sylvie should be working for the firm. Assuming Emily has remained loyal to her this whole time, Madeline enlists her to get her hands on Savoir’s account billing info. Will Emily pledge allegiance to her American mentor, or has she gone full Parisian?

Lastly, and devastatingly for Mindy, her past as a billionaire’s daughter is exposed — by Étienne, who fed the story to a journalist. Chinese tabloid stories pop up all over the internet, and Benoît is hurt that she kept this from him — it means that their whole “penniless street musicians” narrative has been a lie. Benoît storms off, breaking up the band, which leaves a bunch of cliffhangers leading into the Season 2 finale…

Episode 10

“French Revolution”

Madeline continues her hostile American takeover of Savoir, with Emily her reluctant henchwoman. The financials that Emily obtained are messy enough that Madeline thinks some personnel changes are in order. Even the staunchest Sylvie stan can’t deny that she’s made some questionable ethical decisions… like, a lot of them.

Franco-American relations are really put to the test when Pierre’s rival Grégory gets dropped by his marketing firm after a very public freakout over the launch of his shapewear line. Madeline sees an opportunity to snatch up Grégory’s business, while Sylvie believes in staying loyal to Pierre. Sylvie gives in on this one — “I stand corrected” — but we all know she has something up her sleeve.

Gregory is hard to track down, but Emily and Julien finally find her old Riviera buddy at a gay club. Emily convinces him that Savoir can rehab his image in time for the Versailles show — inspired by a stripper’s butt in her face, she comes up with the theme “Let them eat cake.”

That means Emily needs 80 custom cakes in one night… so runs to Gabriel, who, of course, comes through. Alfie confronts Gabriel and asks if there’s anything going on between him and Emily; Gabriel honestly replies that it’s over, and they’re just friends now. Honestly-ish.

Before their band’s big debut at a Chinese supper club, Mindy tries to make up with Benoît, but he’s still distant. When they take the stage — in front of the supper club owner’s daughter, who knows all about Mindy’s Chinese Pop Star flop — Benoît starts playing the original song he wrote for Mindy, “Mon Soleil,” which is a whole bop. “Bonsoir, enchantée…”

At Sylvie’s gorgeous apartment, Laurent and Erik come face to face. Sylvie gives up her ownership stake in Laurent G., which her husband agrees to. He also wants to stay in Paris for a little fun, but Sylvie’s learned from her affair with Antoine, and she begs off, staying loyal to Erik.

The “Let Them Eat Cake” show in Versailles climaxes with Grégory taking the stage in full, sickening Marie Antoinette drag, and paying homage to “magnificent bitch” Pierre Cadault, who comes out alongside Grégory in a loud Sun King wig. But by the end of the show, Pierre hasn’t quite buried the hatchet: he fires Savoir because the show is far grander than anything they’ve created for them. Madeline tries to fix things, but Pierre shuts her down: “I will never understand you, and you will never understand me.”

Madeline blames Sylvie and schedules a “360 review,” but Sylvie doesn’t deal with management-speak; she quits, and takes the rest of the office with her. Emily is blindsided.

And that’s not the only bombshell: Alfie’s project in Paris ended, and he should have been back in London a week ago. He only stayed for Emily. He’ll now just be a train ride away; they’ll have to be long distance, but since Emily loves logistics, that shouldn’t be a problem.

Well, but what about long distance between Europe and Chicago? We know how that went last season, and it’s surely on Emily’s mind when Madeline tells her she’s looking for a brand new staff in Paris, and that Emily will be able to return to the wind-whipped shores of Lake Michigan in no time. Unless she takes the old Savoir crew up on their invitation to join their new firm! Sylvie even admits that Emily is “very, very good” at her job — the validation Emily’s been waiting on for two whole seasons. All of the Savoir clients are coming with Sylvie, and she’s using the money from the Laurent G. buyout to fund a new agency.

Now Emily has an opportunity to stay in Paris longer than she planned — it’s not what she intended, but it’s where she belongs. And despite everything she’s told herself about what she should want, Emily realizes that she’s still in love with Gabriel. She goes to his door and lays it all out there: she’s staying in Paris, perhaps forever, and there’s something she has to say… But there’s Camille, in the next room. She has her headphones on, so she didn’t hear Emily’s big speech, but she’s moved in with Gabriel, in large part thanks to Emily’s efforts to get them back together. Devastated, Emily leaves, alone, her career up in the air. For a girl who loves to plan everything, her future is completely undecided.
