You’ve been granted security clearance for newly announced intelligence: The Night Agent will return for Season 3 on Feb. 19.
Series creator, executive producer, and showrunner Shawn Ryan says the new season will take fans on “an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride across Istanbul, Mexico City, Washington, New York, and the Dominican Republic,” and, this time around, Agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), has a lot on his plate. “Peter grapples with a dangerous conspiracy at the heart of the White House, a dogged reporter with a hot tip and a murky past, a murder suspect trying to clear his name, a mysterious father and son leaving a trail of bodies in their wake, old friends in danger, a collection of familiar and new foes, and a new partner who could be his salvation — or his doom.”

In the teaser for the new season, which you can watch above, Peter fully steps into his role as a night agent. At the start of the preview, he enters a packed soccer stadium and spots his target, played by Suraj Sharma. “Listen, there are people looking for you. Do exactly what I tell you to do, and we’ll get out of here safely. Deal?” he asks calmly before making an escape that involves an intense car chase and a pair of armed assailants. Then Agent Sutherland is seen in a montage of perilous positions — kicking down a burning door, deploying his gun, and pulling an adversary out of a moving truck.

The teaser also gives a peek at Stephen Moyer, who was previously announced to join the cast of The Night Agent. Louis Herthum returns as intelligence broker, Jacob Monroe, and other Season 3 additions — Genesis Rodriguez and David Lyons — appear in the first-look photos, which you can scroll through below. “Amidst these new characters and challenges, Peter will reckon with hard truths and confront the impact of what being a night agent has personally cost him and how it has changed him, for better and for worse,” Ryan says. The newly released images also reveal Amanda Warren will return as Peter’s handler, Catherine Weaver, Fola Evans-Akingbola as Chelsea Arrington, and Albert Jones as Deputy FBI Director Aiden Mosley.
