It’s time to relive the cringe: The Inbetweeners is officially back for a third film. It’s been 16 years since the series finale of the messy misadventures of Will McKenzie (Simon Bird), Simon Cooper (Joe Thomas), Jay Cartwright (James Buckley), and Neil Sutherland (Blake Harrison), and now the original actors find themselves back on set for a new film, as they share in the special announcement video below.
Original co-creators of The Inbetweeners Iain Morris (My Oxford Year) and Damon Beesley write and direct the film. The suburban coming-of-age sitcom ran from 2008 to 2010 on Channel 4 in the UK before the 2011 film and 2014 sequel broke British box office records. “It's been super-fun hanging out with our friends again, and we're going to work hard every week to ensure there are no problemos making this new film for humans,” say Morris and Beesley.
