The end of the year is always a time for reflection — a look back at what you’ve accomplished, what you’re still hoping to do, and, naturally, reminiscing about all the shows you’ve watched, loved, and told everyone else you know to stream too.
This was the year we all fell in love with Penelope and Colin’s romance in Bridgerton, were breathless throughout the Emmy-winning Baby Reindeer, learned the dance from The Perfect Couple, and watched the most-streamed NFL match-ups in US history (and attended the Beyoncé Bowl too, of course). We let 3 Body Problem remind us that, in the vastness of the universe, well, we’re really just bugs. And that’s all while anticipating new seasons of Stranger Things, Wednesday, and The Witcher.
We’ve looked back through the year to find the 25 titles that were most visited on Tudum in 2024, from twisty mysteries like Fool Me Once to the cozy comforts of Virgin River and the live matchup between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. 2024 was the year the world got Polinated, and we were in full bloom on Tudum, inviting the entire ton to our epic livestream event. It covered a fantasy-worthy themed wedding between superfans, introduced the must-have merch, and generally made sure every gentle reader had all they needed to indulge their thirst for all things Bridgerton year-round. Trust that we’ll be scribbling furiously about every scandalous tidbit we learn about next season’s crop of blossoms, led by Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha — before, during, and after their grand debut on Netflix.
Love Is Blind
As long as pods are being opened and gold cups are being filled, Tudum will be keeping you updated on the brave singles around the globe who have shut their eyes and taken the plunge for genuine connection in Love Is Blind. The couples might break up and get back together constantly, but Tudum doesn’t quit on them, serving up status updates on the unions and disunions of your favorite lovebirds from all seasons. Pencil in Tudum for your Valentine’s Day date when the Season 8 pod squad starts their journey in 2025.
Outer Banks
Set in a real-life region of coastal North Carolina, Outer Banks contains an entire universe of treasure and drama that can’t be confined to a TV screen for die-hard fans. In November, Netflix and Tudum brought Kildare to life in Santa Monica, California, with Poguelandia: An Outer Banks Experience, which featured cast appearances, food inspired by the series, and an all-day music festival. If you couldn’t make it to the West Coast, you could still keep it woogity-woogity with interactive content such as the “Which Outer Banks Character Are You?” quiz, as well as behind-the-scenes videos and bloopers. The Diplomat
To follow a series as twisty as this Keri Russell political thriller, it helps to be thoroughly debriefed at every turn, and Tudum compiled all the classified info and character dossiers you could need. Cast interviews, thorough recaps, and deep dives into the shocking Season 2 ending that no one saw coming will make you the most informed international operative going into Season 3, which is already in production and promises to blow up your expectations all over again.
Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson
In 2024, it’s impossible to say that practically everyone is watching the same thing at the same time — but Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson came as close as anyone can get, punching out the record for the most streamed sporting event in history with more than 108 million viewers around the world. Tudum commemorated the iconic matchup with fighter profiles, stats, and results for the main events and undercards.
3 Body Problem
A series that poses as many existential questions as 3 Body Problem, the mind-bending sci-fi series from Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, needs to be thoroughly unpacked. We delved into the series’ Easter eggs, the nonstop “did that just happen?” moments, the unsettling music score, and the meaning behind the phrase “You are bugs.” Did we unravel the inscrutable secrets of the universe once and for all? Maybe not, but we still have Seasons 2 and 3 to keep searching.
The Perfect Couple
So it didn’t turn out to be the #WeddingOfTheCentury, but we were nevertheless thrilled to score the most coveted invitation of the year. (You can still admire the tasteful stationery here.) Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber play the titular spouses who are anything but perfect, and no murderous secret that surfaced about the glamorously dysfunctional Winbury clan escaped our notice. Think of Tudum as your ideal wedding tablemate — all-seeing, all-knowing, and more than willing to share the delicious gossip.
The Umbrella Academy
After four beloved seasons, we closed the umbrella on the multitalented Hargreeves family, and, of course, we had to give them an unforgettable salute as they headed off into the apocalypse. Fool Me Once
Harlan Coben’s thrillers have you turning the pages, and on-screen, they have you hitting “Play Next Episode.” The limited series adaptation of Coben’s novel of the same name centers on Maya Stern (Michelle Keegan), a newly single mother who’s grieving her husband (Richard Armitage) when, just two weeks after his funeral, she sees him alive and well. We took you inside the gates of the sprawling, ominous Burkett estate and untangled that twisted ending.
Emily in Paris
Emily takes a Roman holiday in Season 4 of the romantic comedy series that heretofore has always been about an American girl in the City of Lights. After all the messiness she went through at the end of Season 3, Emily gets struck by wanderlust, and we tracked her every move and outfit change. We also got another new element in Season 4: winter in Paris. Luckily, we’ll be experiencing plenty more firsts alongside our favorite working girl — Emily in Paris has been renewed for a fifth season.
Heartstopper
We’re here for every “hi” — literally. For Season 3 of the swoony adaption of Alice Oseman’s graphic novels, we tracked every new tear and every new kiss as Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke) continue their sweet path to love and hope, even as their lives and the lives of their besties get more complicated.
Baby Reindeer
We welcomed Donny Dunn to the stage in this groundbreaking limited series from Richard Gadd about a struggling young comedian who gets entangled in an obsessive relationship. It threatens to destroy his life while also giving him the material that can help him achieve his wildest ambitions. Baby Reindeer is exactly the kind of series you need to learn all about as soon as you’ve watched it, and Tudum was there to satisfy your obsession to know more.
Griselda
You’d never seen Sofía Vergara like this before. In the drama series Griselda, the veteran comedian (Modern Family) transformed into La Jefa (“The Boss”) through and through. The gripping series, a fictionalized dramatization inspired by the life of Colombian businesswoman Griselda Blanco, immersed viewers in the world of ’70s and ’80s Miami, which the show’s cast and crew brought to life down to the smallest details.
Arcane
Every frame of ARCANE is a work of art, so to commemorate Vi and Jinx’s final sisterly showdown, we put together an immersive guide to how the animators and creators of the hit series brought the lush, detail-rich worlds of Piltover and Zaun to life. ARCANE, based on the League of Legends games, is a feast for the ears as well as the eyes. Delve into the popular soundtrack, complete with original songs and a sweeping score.
Love Is Blind: UK
Yep, it turns out that the formula behind Love Is Blind most certainly travels well across the pond. The accents might be different, but the drama and hilarity of watching 30 singles enter the pods to search for everlasting bonds is just as entertaining. Emma and Matt Willis give Nick and Vanessa a much-needed break as hosts, although Tudum never takes a break from reporting on which couples are together and what drama continues to go down, on- and off-camera. See you in Season 2!
Monsters
Monsters, the most newsworthy drama series of 2024, had the entire world talking about the shocking 1989 true crime case of the Menendez family murders all over again. On Tudum, we got the perspectives of the stacked cast on the morally ambiguous case, gave co-creator Ryan Murphy the mic to sound off on the controversy surrounding the show, and did deep-dives on every aspect of the ’80s/early-’90s period drama, including the now-legendary Episode 5, which still has people talking.
One Day
One Day swooped onto Netflix right in time for Valentine’s Day, and none of our lives were ever the same. Each of the 14 episodes of the adaptation of David Nicholls’ novel takes place during a year of Em (Ambika Mod) and Dex’s (Leo Woodall) decades-long love, always on July 15. Tudum held your passports as we jumped through the years and the memorable locations where Em and Dex kissed and fought.
Cobra Kai
Cobra Kai kicked off its sixth and final season in two parts that hit the mats in July and November, with the third part arriving in 2025. Tudum got this tantalizing hint at what’s up next from William Zabka, who plays Johnny Lawrence: “The stakes are set at the end of the first five. I think if it was just a movie, it’s a great ending that would beg for a sequel, which fortunately is coming in a few months.”
The Witcher
We may not have gotten any new films or episodes from The Witcher world in 2024, but there’s still plenty to anticipate: Liam Hemsworth will be taking over the role of Geralt of Rivia for Season 4, which recently wrapped filming. In April, Netflix renewed the fantasy series for a fifth and final season, and the animated movie The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep will be dropping in February 2025.
