One thing you need to know if harboring an incriminating secret in Victorian London: never underestimate Enola Holmes.
Millie Bobby Brown is back as the brilliant detective in Enola Holmes 2, and unveiled the new trailer for the film during Netflix’s annual Tudum fan event. The sequel drops on Netflix Nov. 4.
Set to a cover of Jet’s “Are You Gonna Be My Girl?”, the trailer kicks off with the elusive Enola on the run from police officers. But in her quintessential breaking-the-fourth-wall fashion, she quickly turns to the audience and deduces that, “Perhaps, I should explain.”
We learn that Enola has now started her own detective agency but is struggling to acquire cases, while her famous brother Sherlock (Henry Cavill) is vexed by his latest investigation.

Then a young girl strolls into Enola’s agency looking for help finding her missing sister, and the trailer swirls into Enola trying to prove she’s a detective worthy of the Holmes name while tackling her first official case. Her work sees her masquerade at a ball, ride in a wagon with her mum (Helena Bonham Carter) while holding what looks to be an explosive device and consult with her “nincompoop” of a pal Lord Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge).
Later in the trailer, Enola and Sherlock’s cases seem to cross paths as they each hunt for the truth. The siblings run into each other while on a stakeout to both of their surprise. “Why are you here? Is it my case or your own?” asks Enola. “Both. It seems our cases are connected,” replies her brother.

Here’s hoping the duo can work together to unravel the mystery before it’s too late.
