Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event, Netflix's biggest celebration of fandom and culture-defining storytelling, took over the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on May 31 with an epic lineup of talent and unforgettable performances from Lady Gaga and Hanumankind. Hosted by Sofia Carson (My Oxford Year, The Life List, Carry-On, Purple Hearts and Feel The Beat), the night brought fans and talent together for a high-energy celebration of all things Netflix. Live on the Netflix Tudum 2025 Stage

Jaw-Dropping Musical Performances
Hanumankind, one of India's most dynamic and genre-defying music talents, took the stage to perform his viral hit “The Game Don't Stop,” which served as the anthem to Squid Game Season 2. 

At the end of the show, Lady Gaga graced the stage to celebrate the debut of the first six minutes of Wednesday, with a medley of her songs including "Zombieboy," "Bloody Mary," and "Abracadabra.” It was also announced on stage that Lady Gaga will be guest starring in Part 2 of Season 2, playing the mysterious and enigmatic Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.

Epic Fan Crossover Moments
The event brought together iconic YA casts, including stars from Outer Banks, My Life with the Walter Boys, Forever, and Ginny & Georgia, answering burning questions and sharing the stage for a memorable cast photo. The excitement continued when WWE Superstars CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods took the stage to introduce the cast of One Piece, and Jackie Tohn (Nobody Wants This) hilariously spilled backstage secrets with special appearances from *the* Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders,  Fred Armisen, Thing, and more.

Other only-at-Tudum moments included Love is Blind’s Vanessa Lachey hosting the “Tudum Kiss Cam,” featuring fan-favorite couples from the Netflix Reality Universe, including Kwame Appiah & Chelsea Griffin and Amy Cortés & Johnny McIntyre (all from Love is Blind), Abbey Romeo & David Isaacman (Love on the Spectrum) and Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio (WWE Raw). Additionally, Backstreet Boy AJ McClean appeared in the show and gave fans a sneak peek of Building the Band, a new music series premiering this summer featuring mentor and judge Nicole Scherzinger, with Kelly Rowland and the late Liam Payne as guest judges.

NEWS & DEBUTS 

SQUID GAME

The Squid Game crew kicked off the night with pulse-pounding energy, as the show's unmistakable pink guards stormed Los Angeles with a high-energy dance performance that set the tone for the night, followed by an electric performance of “Run It Up” from Indian rap star Hanumankind. Then, cast members Lee Jung-jae (Gi-Hun), Lee Byung-hun (Front Man), Park Sung-hoon, Kang Ae-sim, and Choi Seung-hyun then took the stage to drop a major reveal: the official Squid Game Season 3 trailer. The final chapter is near — the global phenomenon comes to a dramatic close when Season 3 premieres June 27, only on Netflix.

WAKE UP DEAD MAN: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY

Benoit Blanc is back on the case — and this time, he’s not alone. During the live show, the star-studded cast of Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery — including Daniel Craig, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Cailee Spaeny, and Daryl McCormack — joined writer-director Rian Johnson to unveil an exclusive sneak peek at the third installment in the Knives Out saga. The mystery officially unravels when the film premieres globally on Netflix December 12, 2025.

ONE PIECE

It’s time to set sail — the One Piece crew just dropped anchor at Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event with big news — delivered by WWE Raw superstars (and self-proclaimed Straw Hats) CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods. One Piece Cast members Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar gave fans an exclusive first look at the upcoming season, officially coming to Netflix in 2026. But the real surprise? Our first glimpse at the one and only Tony Tony Chopper — and yes, he’s just as adorable as you imagined. The fan-favorite reindeer doctor will be voiced by Mikaela Hoover. 

FRANKENSTEIN

In a pre-recorded message, Jacob Elordi of Frankenstein greeted fans before director Guillermo del Toro, Oscar Isaac and Mia Goth took the Netflix Tudum 2025 stage. Del Toro detailed his personal journey to making the film while the cast described their incredible experience making the film — leading up to an electrifying exclusive look at the film's teaser trailer. 

HAPPY GILMORE 2

Happy Gilmore is back — and he brought friends. The cast of Happy Gilmore 2 hit the stage to celebrate the original film’s legendary legacy, with a lively Q&A hosted by Rich Eisen. Fans were treated to surprise appearances from Lavell Crawford, Blake Clark, Kym Whitley, Jon Lovitz, Ethan Cutkosky, and Conor Sherry before the crowd went wild for the debut of the official trailer. The sequel tees off on July 25, 2025, only on Netflix.

STRANGER THINGS

Stranger Things is going out with a bang — and the cast just dropped a major update for Season 5. Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Caleb McLaughlin took the stage to honor the show's unforgettable legacy, with a little help from Millie Bobby Brown and Gaten Matarazzo who beamed in to break the news: The epic fifth and final season is coming in three parts. Mark your calendars — four episodes drop November 26, three more arrive on Christmas Day, and the grand finale lands on New Year’s Eve. Each volume goes live at 5:00 p.m. PT, only on Netflix.

WEDNESDAY

To close the show, the Addams family —Jenna Ortega, Luis Guzmán, Joanna Lumley, Fred Armisen and Isaac Ordonez — revealed the very five minutes of Wednesday Season 2, premiering on Netflix on August 6 and September 3.  And there’s more: You can see an even longer cut of the exclusive clip by clicking the  story above. 

THE RIP

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, suited up as Miami cops from The Rip stormed in only to find Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster snacking away in his dressing room. Turns out, they are all big fans of each other — as the pair apologized and grabbed a cookie for the road. Then, Damon, Affleck took the stage with The Rip cast members Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, and Catalina Sandino Moreno introduced the pulse-pounding teaser, exclusively within the live broadcast. The teaser has since been confiscated 👀 — but the cast also revealed that the film will release globally on Netflix on January 16, 2026.
