Nick Lachey: Hold on a second. You guys were making out, and you were actually at the same bar at the same time? Are you two still together? 

Lydia: I had no confirmation that Uche was gonna be there. 

Stacy: I’m a Coke bottle. You wanna shake it. Like, let’s pop the top. Like, if you wanna go there, I feel like you brought that upon yourself by gossiping about me.

[TITLE CARD] THE CAST OF ‘LOVE IS BLIND’ SEASON 5 REACTS TO THE REUNION 

[whispers indistinctly] 

Nick Lachey: Everybody good? Everybody feeling good? We’re relaxed? We’re ready?

Stacy: We’re good.

Stacy: Relaxed, I’m not sure. Ready, yes.

[laughter]

Stacy: I’m ready. Uh, reunion was a little bit … mm, mm. It wasn’t that bad.

Lydia: I think it went great.

Izzy: It was like seeing my friends again. 

Taylor: My heart was beating out of my chest when I sat down. And I don’t remember exactly what he said, but whatever it was, it pissed me off, and I was, like … I was fuming for a second. 

JP: It’s not fun, I’ll tell you that. It was hard going through it, and it was even harder to watch. 

Taylor: I am a little disappointed that I didn’t get an answer that I was hoping for. I wanted JP to tell me the real reason things changed in Mexico. I don’t know. I feel like he’s just still full of it.

JP: [laughs] First time I saw her, it was a little shocking and off-putting. 

Taylor: You belittled me and made me feel less than I am. Not OK. 

Stacy: Taylor came in with that look of, like … to JP. I was like, “Get him.” I’m glad that she came in strong and didn’t feel, like, belittled, or less than, or intimidated by that. She came in, “You’re not gonna do that. Not gonna talk to me that way.” She was strong. I was like, “Yes.” 

Taylor: He was still talking about the makeup. I was like … “Give me something else.” But it felt good. My girl’s got my back. And I feel like any woman in that situation, you know, would agree with me. It wasn’t right.

Lydia: The whole situation with Uche is not something that was easy to deal with. I wanted her to have her happy ending. It’s unfortunate that that didn’t happen. It was a tough time, and I did the best that I could with the relationship and the connection I had with Aaliyah. 

Lydia: I feel like I said my piece and everything I had to say. Now it’s done. I just wanted to close that chapter of my life. What do you feel? 

Milton: I think it would be interesting to hear out somebody that didn’t show. 

Nick Lachey: I just want to let you guys know that Uche was invited to the reunion today, and he chose not to be a part of this. 

Milton: He talked a big game, but at the end of the day, I guess he wasn’t about it. It’s unfortunate. 

Lydia: Actions speak louder than words.

Nick Lachey: Izzy said yes. Stacy, you said no. But then you guys kissed, at a first that I don’t think has ever happened at a wedding, ever, in the history of weddings. 

Vanessa Lachey: I can feel it from you guys over here. What are you feeling right now, Stacy?

[groans] 

Stacy: The most emotional part of the whole thing was watching that part back. I wanted to give him a yes. Watching it happen is so sad, ’cause I wanted to give him a yes and make him happy, and it just wasn’t in the cards that day, so …

Vanessa Lachey: Did you guys date after that?

Stacy: Mmmm. 

Izzy: We, um … We tr — um … Yes, we did share a kiss. What was going through my mind is I didn’t know if she wanted me to reveal that. We hadn’t talked about it. But yeah, we did share a kiss. 

Stacy: I’m just a very private person, and he and I never even figured out what we were doing in those moments. It was very confusing. So I’m like, “Let’s just keep it in the confusing whatever that was, and if we ever readdress it, then we can talk about it.” So since it was never addressed, and it was just that, I wanted it to stay there. So since he addressed it, I just let him go with whatever he wanted to say. 

Johnie: I never saw him again. 

Nick Lachey: Are you saying he started seeing someone else without breaking things off with you? Is that what you’re saying?

Chris: It’s a terrible thing to do. Probably one of my biggest regrets. I’ve apologized before, and I … continuously apologize. 

Johnie: He’s apologized. 

Milton: Oh, Chris. Wait, Johnie took it. 

Lydia: Yes. Johnie was like … She handled it really well. Yeah. Almost, like, better than me. 

Stacy: Can’t imagine wanting to come and talk about that. I really respected him for that. Not for cheating, but, like, balls to own it. 

Vanessa Lachey: I love that you’re still in this wedding bliss. 

Nick Lachey: Any plans for the future you could share with us today? 

Milton: After the reunion, this is gonna be good. We can actually not be concerned …

Lydia: Yes.

Milton: … if we’re wearing our rings …

Lydia: Yes!

Milton: … getting caught together …

Lydia: And not … Yes! 

Milton: We don’t have to hide our relationship. We have freedom.

[sighs in relief]

Lydia: Finally. Yes! About time. [chuckles]
