Bri: Oh my God, this may be our first fight. Really?

Jessica: Oh! I feel so overwhelmed right now. Like, in the best possible way.

Connor: I know I have to … 

Bri: If you're gonna be lazy, I will rip you to shreds.

[upbeat music playing]

Emma: How are you feeling after yesterday, today? 

Connor: I don't know if this is too early, but I have kind of put you in a higher tier. I do look forward to our dates more than others. I guess I'm kind of comfortable saying that out loud. 

Emma: You give me butterflies. Like … 

Connor: I feel like we've been dating for like a month. It's been so effortless to hang out and talk. With all of that as a basis, it's just, I guess like, motivating to get to know you deeper and to find out, like, what we can fight about at some point.

[laughs]

Like, we gotta figure that out.

Emma: Okay, pineapple on pizza, yes or no?

Connor: Ew.

Emma: Okay, there we go. I love pineapple on pizza. All right, so we have to split our pizzas. All right, that's one. My couch is so gross because my dog, like, uses it as his bed.

Connor: Wait, what kind of dog do you have?

Emma: He's a beagle-terrier mix. 

Connor: Is he okay with a dog dad coming into the picture, do you think? 

Emma: You're gonna have to fight him for his spot in my bed. 

Connor: No way. 

Emma: I sleep on one side and he sleeps on the other and he has his own pillow. I do have a dog backpack for my dog. I have to like hurl him onto my back; it's kind of a two-person job to make sure he's comfortable. 

Connor: You came on Love Is Blind so somebody could put your dog in your backpack? 

Emma: Yeah. 

Connor: I respect the shit out of that.

Bri: Hi.

Chris: How are you?

Bri:  I'm on one tonight, I guess. 

Chris: So, I already know who this is. 

Bri: Wait, I love that you actually can start recognizing my voice. 

Chris: Yeah, I mean, I don't wanna say what your friends call you cause I don't wanna offend you, but I know it's real Breezy.

Bri: [laughing] It's the real one, babe.

Chris: Do you know who this is?

Bri: Connor.

Chris: [laughs] No. 

Bri: Stop.

Chris: I swear.

Bri: Is this Chris?

Chris: Yeah.

Bri: Shit.

Chris [laughing] Yeah. I literally should have just kept going with it for 30 minutes. 

Bri: I hate myself. 

Jordan: The first couple of dates with Amber, I feel very comfortable and at ease talking to her. I can tell that she is like a salt of the earth, good, good person. But I was, yesterday, I was, like, on the fence because I didn't feel like she was trying to get to know me as much. She would get off on tangents and talk about work for 10 minutes or something.

Amber: Hello? 

Jordan: Oh, hello, Amber. How's it going?

Amber: Good.

Jordan: Do you mind if I snack? 

Amber: No, not at all. Snack away. 

Jordan: So one thing I did wanna bring up to you was … I think that our energy has been going well. Um, I would like to see if you are a little more curious about me.

Amber: Absolutely.

Jordan: Oh, good. 

Amber: I kind of feel bad because I feel I've had to gauge everybody on this way, "It's, like, me and my daughter and blah, blah." And just talking about that. But I've kind of had to like gauge people that, like, were okay with that, if that makes any sense. 

Jordan: That does make sense. 

Amber: So I do feel bad that it has been a bit more about that with my dates. Yeah. What do you think your greatest accomplishment has been? 

Jordan: Mmm. In 2022, I got laid off and then was unemployed for like five months. You know, it went from, like, having a very comfortable living to all of a sudden, like, what the fuck am I gonna do? 

Amber: Yeah. 

Jordan: Um, and so I had to make a really tough choice which was to restart my career in a different field. I got into sales and had to just bite the bullet and go into a sales development role, which is literally just cold-calling and setting meetings. So I just busted my ass with that for like a year, and I got promoted into, like, an actual account management role. So I'm proud of the fact that I was able to, you know, find myself back into a good position after, you know, how low I was feeling. That was probably one of the most like worthless I ever felt. 

Amber: Absolutely. I appreciate you sharing that because it is tough to admit, but it gives you, I feel like, so much ground and so much — you appreciate being, like, humble and like working your way toward that. That's really good. So, no, that's a huge accomplishment. 

Jordan: Just wanna say that definitely I've enjoyed hanging with you. 

Amber: It was actually really good talking to you. I mean, how are you feeling about everything? You can be straight up. 

Jordan: Better today than yesterday, TBH. 

Amber: Good. 

Jordan: I'm glad that you asked more questions. 

Amber: Absolutely. I feel bad too. I also get like kind of nervous at first. 

Jordan: That's something I have to remind myself, you guys are doing this for the first time too.

Amber: Yeah, absolutely. And I tend to like just ramble sometimes when I'm nervous. So I apologize if I have done that. 

Jordan: No apologies necessary. I think this conversation was important for me. 

Amber: Good. 

Miguel: You're literally like a teddy bear. 

Jordan: Yeah, I'm sleepy. 

Miguel: Dude, let me tuck you in, bro. No, bro. So this is how you do it. 

Jordan: You fluff my pillows?

Miguel: Yeah. You wanna go like here.

Jordan: Thanks, bro.

Miguel: There you go.

Jordan: What a guy. What a guy. Thanks, buddy.

Jordan: Oh man.

Miguel: You wanna hug something?

Jordan: Yes.

Miguel: This might fall as you roll. So let me make it a little higher. 

Jordan: You're the best, man. Dude, you're the best. Oh …

Miguel: [laughing] I will not kiss you though.

Jordan: Aw.

Miguel: Unless you want to.

Jessica:  So when you think of being actually married, do you feel ready for that? Do you feel ready to be a husband? 

Chris: Yes. And to me, I just know who you are, Jess. It would be hard for me to wonder if it could be ever anyone else. 

Jessica: That's exactly how I feel. And I know maybe I'm not the best at articulating, but I am honestly falling in love with you. 

Chris: That's how I feel too. 

Jessica: I wrote it in my book last night. 

Chris: What's it say? 

Jessica: I wrote … “I went into today with Chris being my only focus and it's been the best day yet … We just finished our date and I know I'm in love with him … I can't wait for the right moment to tell him that." 

Chris: Wow. Love you, Jess. 

Jessica: I love you. 

Chris: Oh my God, she's … I literally have goosebumps on my arm.

Jessica: Mm-hmm, me too. I feel insane. 

Chris: You're not insane. Cause I'm real and I'm over here and I can't wait to hold you, kiss you, see you. 

Jessica: I feel so overwhelmed right now. Like, in the best possible way.

Connor: Did you miss me? 

Bri: Yeah, I did. Did you miss me? 

Connor: Like way too much that I won't admit.

Bri: Wow. Yeah.

Bri: Just waiting to do that.

Connor: Yeah, I know.

Connor: I've been waiting for you.

Bri: Oh. 

Connor: My fiancé. 

Bri: Aw, he's like, "Honey, all I need is you."

Connor: [laughs] You could also just be like, “I love this smell.” 

Bri: I know. Can you smell me? 

Connor: You do smell good.

Bri: Really?

Connor: Yes. 

Bri: I actually really like masculine fragrances on me. 

Connor: Oh, I didn't know there was unisex fragrances. 

Bri: Yeah, come on. Get with it. You have a lot to learn, babe.

Connor: I do have a lot to learn.

Connor: You have a lot to learn, too, actually. 

Bri: About what? 

Connor: I don't know. Something'll come up. My sisters will tell you everything. They won't stop yapping. You guys are going to be three peas in a pod. 

Bri: You can't stop yapping either. You're just as bad. 

Connor: I'm not as bad as you with the yapping. 

Bri: You think so? Oh my God, this may be our first fight.

Connor: Really?

Bri: Wow.

Connor: We'll have to ask the people tomorrow.

Bri: He said she is a yapper. "You said I'm a yapper?" 

Connor: Huh. Well, for one day. Someday. 

Bri: You're either gonna love me or hate me. 

Connor: Well, I already love you, so I guess I'll just hate you later. 

Bri: That's fun. 

Jordan: How are you feeling about everything today?

Amber: Really good.

Jordan: Yeah. Like, I mean, it's just been a relaxing day. 

Amber: Same. 

Jordan: I think we've gotten along really well. 

Amber: Yeah, for sure. 

Jordan: I don't feel like there's been … I was telling this to the guys yesterday, but I haven't felt like I've had pressure to fill silence with conversation. 

Amber: Yeah. Well, that's the best part about it, right? I feel like you don't actually know somebody until you go on a trip with them. 

Jordan: Mm-hmm. Yeah, I feel like we haven't really gotten each other's way.

Amber: No.

Jordan: Like, for vacationing. It's like, it's been super chill. 

Amber: This is, like, different for me. Just seems like so easy and so natural, like, flowing. It's much different than, like, a lot of my previous relationships, which were, like, ungodly hell. So … 

Jordan: Well, I'm glad that … [laughs] I'm glad it hasn't been hell for you. 

Brittani: Do you know all of your siblings' birthdays by heart? 

Devo: Yeah. AJ's 7/9 and the twins are 7/10.

Brittani: [laughing] That's crazy the date. I mean, just like my siblings.

Devo: Yeah. Day apart. But they're 12 years apart in age. 

Brittani: Yeah, mine are four. 

Devo: And then Spencer's 5/25, Courtney's 4/11, and my mom's 9/27.

Brittani: Wait, what? Really?

Devo: Yeah.

Brittani: That's my brother's birthday. Yeah.

Devo: Is it? 

Brittani: Yeah. 

Devo: 9/27. 

Brittani: Also, I love how you say, like, "nine" instead of the month.

Devo: Oh. [both laugh] Same difference. Tomato, tomato. 

Brittani: You mean, tomato, tomahto? 

Devo: That's the point. We gotta work on that. 

Brittani: Nobody says, tomato, tomato.

Bri: Okay, so tonight …

Connor: Yeah. 

Bri: Let me get a drink of this. 

Connor: Who are you excited to see? 

Bri: The girls. [laughing]

Connor: I'm excited to see the boys.

Bri: I know. You get to meet all of the girls. We get to meet our exes. 

Connor: We get to meet our exes. Y'all only have one ex over there?

Bri:  Emma, me.

Connor: Yeah.

Bri: Because you can talk about me.

Connor: I can just talk about you. I'm sure I'll have a conversation with Emma at some point. 

Bri: I feel like it's so easy to, like, talk about just, like, your situation. Like, oh, like, "How's so-and-so?" 

Connor: Like, me and you? 

Bri: Well, yeah, or them and their, like, partner. But I … I … 

Connor: Most people would say, "Yeah, we're good." "Things are amazing."

Bri: Here's the thing.

Connor: "We last, like, 20 minutes in bed."

Bri: Can you? Can I?

Connor: Sorry. 

Bri: What I was gonna say was one thing that I was thinking about of, like, how do I want to show up, is that I really did have, like, cool connections with people. I really want to be intentional with, like, conversations I have tonight because, like, we all kind of shared things in that space that, like, we wouldn't share with other people. And, like, so now that's, like, an intimate circle of friends that, like — we're all gonna know, like, stuff that my friends back home don't even know about me. You know?

Connor: Yeah.

Bri: I'm sure they feel the same. And they're, like, “Okay, I'm seeing this person that I shared, like, all of my life with.”

Connor: You don't even know what they look like?

Bri: I don't know what they look like. And now they're obviously, like, engaged to a friend of mine, which is fantastic. But it's just, like, I really appreciated what some people did for me in the past. I feel like I would express that.

Connor: It's a nice way to look at it.

Bri: See? I was thinking.

[chuckling]

Amber: What'd you think about tonight? 

Jordan: We had a blast out there. It was super fun. So fun to see everybody. I don't know, I just assumed everybody was kind of in a good spot out here. Um … But it seems like maybe other people are hitting different bumps in the road. I don't know what conversations you had, but … 

Amber: That's why we're still sane and strong. 

Jordan: That's true. But I've enjoyed spending the time with you. Like, I haven't had any moments where it's like, "Ugh, I need to get away and just be by myself." Because even while we are hanging out, like, I can just do my own thing, like, read my book and chill, or take a nap or something. It's not like you're …

Amber: Probably putting on makeup. 

Jordan: Yeah, getting ready in the bathroom for five hours from now. [laughing] You are always getting ready.

Amber: [laughing] You are. Is it worth it? 

Jordan: Yeah. It is.

Bri: I struggled, too, with, like, thinking about, am I gonna be like a working mom? Or not?

Connor: Mm.

Bri: I don't know what it would look like. Yeah. Would you support me? 

Connor: Hell yeah. 

Bri: You don't have a dream of being a stay-at-home dad. 

Connor: Oh, I think every guy does at some point. I would love to be a stay-at-home dad. You kidding me? 

Bri: So, would you like, go back to work and I'm gonna stay home with the kids? 

Connor: So, I am prepared to be the provider. But if you loved what you did, and you made the money that we needed, we're good. "You want to be a stay-at-home dad?" I'd be, like, sure. 

Bri: Okay, we're assuming you're the stay-at-home dad. 

Connor: Just assuming right now. 

Bri: Because I'm kind of curious about, like, house chores. Like, things you like to do, and things you don't like to do. 

Connor: I mean, I don't like doing any chores. But I know I have to do them.

Bri: If you're gonna be lazy, I will rip you to shreds. 

Connor: I take care of my house, don't worry. But when you say, which chores do I like to do? Not many. Do I do them without complaining? Yes. 

Bri: I cannot do clutter. 

Connor: You don't have a clothes pile. 

Bri: This is why I'm like, what do you mean by a clothes pile? 

Connor: So I hate laundry, actually, now that I think about it.

Bri: I actually don't mind doing laundry.

Connor: Would you do my laundry?

Bri: I'd absolutely do your laundry. 

Connor: Might be like the hottest thing I've ever heard. 

Bri: I would do your laundry.

Connor: Wow.

Bri: Why wouldn't I do your laundry? 

Connor: That just made my life a hundred times easier.

Bri: Great. I have no issues with that.

Jessica: Back to real world.

Jessica: No. Okay. We have rose-colored glasses right now. Like, I think you're perfect. Like, so there are going to be things that you and I don't think about. 

Chris: Yeah. 

Jessica: I feel like we can get through like, any of those …

Chris: I know we can.

Chris: Yeah, I mean, it's a concern, but, like, at the same time, it's like, that's life.

Jessica: Exactly. I feel like at this point, if you change your mind for some reason, I would be devastated.

Chris: I think it's the other way around.

Jessica: Oh, get out of here. For sure. Even though I've gone however many years without you, and I've only known you for such a short period of time, like, I can't imagine … Like, I feel, I can feel my heart racing right now, thinking like, if like, the worst thing happened and … 

Chris: What's the worst thing?

Jessica: That you change your mind. Like, I hope to God that this, whatever this magical thing is, is still there no matter where we are.

Chris: Yeah.

Callie: Emma, what do you do for work?

Emma: I'm in merchandising, so I do, um, I'm a merchant at Abercrombie & Fitch. Our closet will be jam-packed with clothes from mine and his side. 

Callie: Oh my God, you guys are two fashionistas. 

Emma: Two fashionistas. We bonded over that in the pods. 

Callie: Oh my God. What else did you guys bond over? 

Emma: We just had really good conversations. Like, he had really good advice. Like, he was super insightful. He was, like, a really good listener. So …
