The power of discovery is on full display in the 25th issue of Tudum Magazine — and nowhere is that more apparent than in the latest performances from our three cover stars, La Bola Negra’s Guitarricadelafuente, Gentle Monster’s Léa Seydoux, and East of Eden’s Florence Pugh, photographed across Spain, France, and New York over the summer of 2026.

The issue goes deeper into the worlds of these onscreen stories and beyond, from interviews with Allison Janney, Ben Affleck, and Lee Chang-dong to director Ron Howard sharing why he set out to capture the life and career of one of photography’s greats with his documentary Avedon. Head into the pages to uncover the satisfaction of a well-told story.

The cover stars

On the beaches of Barcelona, Jorge Pérez Ortiz photographed Guitarricadelafuente, the genre-bending Spanish musician who makes his acting debut in Los Javis’ sweeping epic, La Bola Negra. And in Brittany, France, we met up with Léa Seydoux, who was photographed by Marie Deteneuille. Seydoux opened up about her “complex relationship with acting” ahead of Gentle Monster, a drama about a woman whose life is shattered by disturbing accusations against her husband. Florence Pugh, who collaborated with photographer Dan Jackson in New York City to create the stunning portraits in this issue, brings John Steinbeck’s unforgettable antihero Cathy Ames to life in Zoe Kazan’s adaptation of East of Eden. Pugh approached the role “in a way [she’d] never done before.” Each of these performers finds themselves playing characters standing at the precipice of something unknown. Read more about how they approached the process of inhabiting their roles.
