It’s been almost a full two years since The Umbrella Academy graced our screens, but the dysfunctional superhero family is finally back. When last we saw them, the Brellies had found themselves trapped in an alternate timeline where their long-deceased patriarch is still alive — and has his own plans for them. Along with some returning favorites, Season 3 introduces a host of rivals in the form of the Sparrow Academy, a mirror version of the Umbrella Academy that doesn’t take too kindly to their counterparts. To prepare you for the showdown, check out this guide to the many fresh and familiar faces of The Umbrella Academy.

The star of Juno and Inception returns as the deadly violinist, now known as Viktor. (Like Page, Umbrella Number Seven has come out as a transgender man.) Page has been one of the centers of The Umbrella Academy for three seasons; you can also see him in Tallulah and in the Netflix mini-series Tales of the City.

Left: Tom Hopper as Luther Hargreeves/Spaceboy/One in The Umbrella Academy.
Also back — Tom Hopper and his diamond-cut jawline. The actor behind the super-strong astronaut is no stranger to genre television: He appeared as Percival in Merlin, Dickon Tarly in Game of Thrones and Billy Bones in Black Sails. But are any of them half-ape, half-man? We don’t think so.

Center: David Castañeda as Diego Hargreeves/The Kraken/Two in The Umbrella Academy.
Telekinetic Two is an ex-vigilante with a difficult relationship with his father. Who can relate? He’s played by David Castañeda, who’s also appeared in shows like Jane The Virgin to Switched at Birth and in films like The Guilty.

Right: Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison Hargreeves/The Rumor/Three in The Umbrella Academy.
Psychic celebrity Allison is played by Raver-Lampman, a theater staple who’s appeared in productions from Hamilton to Hair to SpongeBob SquarePants (she played Mr. Krabs’ daughter Pearl in the original Chicago production). You may have also seen her in Dog, Blacklight or the cheekily titled Untitled Horror Movie.

Klaus, the team member who can [Haley Joel Osment voice] “see dead people,” is played by Robert Sheehan, an Irish actor best known for roles in shows like Misfits and Love/Hate. For more Sheehan smolder, check out YA adaptations that he’s appeared in, including the unrelated The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and Mortal Engines. He’s also written a collection of short stories, Disappearing Act.

The time-traveling black sheep of the group, Five sets the events of the series in motion when he returns from the future with bad news: The world is about to end. He’s played by Aidan Gallagher, who appears as Nicky in the Nickelodeon sitcom Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. Try saying that ten times fast! Gallagher is also an active environmentalist and musician.

A mental patient with a mysterious past, Lila joins the Brellies in their quest to cancel the apocalypse in Season 2 — although (no spoilers here) there were a few twists and turns after that. Ritu Arya, who plays Lila, also appears in Red Notice and an episode of Sherlock.

The not-very-fatherly patriarch of the Umbrella Academy died in the first season; his funeral brings the group back together. But he’s found ways to make his presence known since then. In Season 3’s alternate timeline, he leads the rival Sparrow Academy. Colm Feore, who plays Reginald, is also known for his work in House of Cards, where he plays General Brockhart, and for his role as the district attorney in 2003 Oscar winner Chicago. For some bilingual buddy-cop fun, you can also see him in Canadian action flicks Bon Cop, Bad Cop and Bon Cop, Bad Cop 2.

The Brellies’ deceased, tentacle-toting brother is back in Season 3. But things are a little different: He’s a member of the alternate timeline’s far more professional Sparrow Academy, and not quite as lovable as we remember him. Min can also be seen in this year’s sublime techno-drama After Yang, opposite Colin Farrell.

Luther’s Sparrow Academy counterpart is “the leader that Luther always wanted to be,” according to Tom Hopper on The Umbrella Academy Geeked Week panel. He’s the super-strong front man of the new team. Cornwell also appeared in the Netflix original Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey and in the television adaptation of Training Day.

Left: Britne Oldford as Fei Hargreeves/Sparrow Number Three in The Umbrella Academy.
Based on her brief appearance in the Season 3 trailer, Sparrow Number Three can control birds with her mind. Scarier than it sounds! Oldford has also appeared in series like Skins, American Horror Story: Asylum and Ravenswood, and in movies like Free Guy.

Right: Jake Epstein as Alphonso Hargreeves/Sparrow Number Four in The Umbrella Academy.
The Degrassi: The Next Generation star plays Klaus’ timeline counterpart. You may have also seen Epstein in The Zack Files or in Charlie Bartlett opposite the late, great Anton Yelchin. He’s also appeared onstage in shows like Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.

On The Umbrella Academy Geeked Week panel, the cast revealed that Sloane has the ability to control gravity. Not bad for a newbie! You might recognize Rodriguez from her parts in telenovelas like Doña Bárbara or Dame Chocolate; if her voice sounds familiar, that’s because she also played Honey Lemon in Big Hero 6.

Right: Cazzie David as Jayme Hargreeves/Sparrow Number Six in The Umbrella Academy.
The writer (and daughter of Larry David) plays Jayme, the final member of the Sparrows, who has the ability to dream-walk, as revealed on The Umbrella Academy Geeked Week panel. David previously co-created and starred in web series Eighty-Sixed and wrote a book of essays, No One Asked for This.

Diego’s son, introduced via some timey-wimey shenanigans in the new season, is played by Javon Walton of Euphoria fame. He’s just like his dad — maybe a little too much like his dad. You may have also seen Walton on the Gillian Flynn television series Utopia.
