Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story debuted at the top of the English TV list with 12.1 million views. The latest installment marks the fourth time that Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s anthology series has hit No. 1 on the list, performing as strongly as The Ed Gein Story and The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. The eight-episode series stars Ella Beatty as the infamous Massachusetts woman who was accused of the 1892 axe murders of her parents. Sarah Paulson, Rebecca Hall, Charlie Hunnam, Vicky Krieps, and Billie Lourd round out the cast.
Crew Girl paddled up to No. 2 on the list with 11.3 million views, more than doubling its viewership in its second week. The young adult romance stars Miku Martineau as Teagan, who joins her new school’s all-boys varsity rowing team as its coxswain — and finds herself in a love triangle with two very different teammates. To fans’ delight, the series has been renewed for a second season. Season 2 of The Gentlemen nabbed the No. 3 spot with 6 million views, while Season 1 took the No. 5 spot with 3.4 million views. The stylish crime series centers on Theo James as Eddie, who unexpectedly inherits his family’s estate — and its secret marijuana business run by Susie (Kaya Scodelario).
The Whisper Man clung to the No. 2 spot on the English film list with 6.2 million views. Robert De Niro, Michelle Monaghan, and Adam Scott lead the thriller about a father who believes his young son’s disappearance is linked to a notorious, imprisoned serial killer. Best of the Best debuted at No. 5 on the list with 4.3 million views. Co-written by co-star Hasan Minhaj, the dance-based comedy follows two childhood best friends (played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Priyanka Kedia) who join UCLA’s Bollywood-fusion dance team and learn just how cutthroat their chosen new world can be.
Death of the Pastor’s Wife — the docuseries about the life of South Carolina worship leader Mica Miller, her toxic marriage to charismatic pastor John-Paul “JP” Miller, and the abuse she endured before her death — claimed the No. 7 spot on the English TV list with 2.5 million views. And Jo Koy: Blue in the Face — the sixth stand-up special from the comedian, filmed before a sold-out crowd in Stockton, California — premiered at No. 8 on the list, cracking 2.5 million views.

Based on Saskia Noort’s novel The Dinner Club, the series follows a friend group that turns on itself when one of them is killed, making everyone a suspect. The Indian film Vishwanath & Sons charmed its way to the top of the non-English film list with 5.8 million views. The romantic drama from writer-director Venky Atluri (Vaathi) stars Suriya (Retro) as an Olympian shooter who travels to America to help his sick child, only for an unexpected romance to complicate his mission.
