Someone is going down in The Hunting Wives Season 2’s new trailer — in every sense imaginable.

The sneak peek, which you can watch above, features a generous serving of seduction with a juicy side of mystery and murder, just in time for Thanksgiving festivities. The second season lands on Netflix Nov. 26.

“Let’s wash off all of last night’s sins,” Margo (Malin Akerman) says to Sophie (Brittany Snow) as the pair take a bubble bath together. “I don’t think we could wash off what we did last night,” her messy situationship coyly replies.

And indeed, over the course of the trailer, there’s plenty of debauchery to be seen. Margo is dangerously toying with her many suitors, from Sophie to Brad (George Ferrier) to Callie (Jaime Ray Newman), the latter of whom seems to be out for her lover’s neck. More inexplicable violence is hitting the small town of Maple Brook, Texas, and there’s blood on multiple people’s hands. Plus, a few new faces are stirring up their own trouble, including Chase Brylan (John Stamos), Zelda Moffitt (Dale Dickey), and Nadia Kelly (Kim Matula).

Five women dressed in modern western and glamorous outfits stand side by side in a rustic wooden barn setting, posing confidently behind a wooden fence with a painted Texas flag on the wall behind them.

“At the start of Season 2, Sophie and Margo are on the outs,” the logline teases. “But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises: Are they the hunters or the hunted?”

Creator, executive producer, and showrunner Rebecca Cutter was delighted to take viewers on another “sexy, twisted, batshit crazy ride” through Maple Brook. The series has already been picked up for a third season and will continue to crank up the heat in the Lone Star state. “I promise that once you’ve finished Season 2, you’ll be desperate to see what happens next,” Cutter says. “Season 3 will be even more scandalous and twisted.”

Four people in dark biker attire stand inside a dimly lit wooden cabin, one older woman in the foreground holds a silver revolver, others look on tensely, suggesting a dramatic or confrontational moment.

Amid vicious backstabbing, shoot-outs, and wigged-out mayhem, looms a big question. Will Margo and Sophie ever be able to quit each other?

“There is a lot of love and care there, and yet their circumstances are really dire and murderous, and the stakes are very high,” says Snow. Adds Akerman, “Listen, Margo always has an agenda. She just does, and she is number one in her world. But Sophie, I think, truly has come in and tipped her world upside down.”
