Calling all Cuphead stans: It’s time to put down the controller, grab the cookies and settle in with the debut trailer for Netflix’s The Cuphead Show! Netflix is bringing Studio MDHR’s award-winning video game to life, replete with 1930s rubber-hose animation and pie-eyed stylings not seen since the days of Betty Boop, Popeye and early Disney classics.

The Cuphead Show! follows the mischievous and playful Cuphead and his less rascally brother Mugman. In the trailer, the brothers find themselves bored while carrying out mundane chores at their home on Inkwell Isle. Mid-task, Cuphead senses that he and his brother need a little fun and adventure, but when their outing leads them to the local carnival (spelled CarnEvil, get it?), they end up playing right into the Devil’s hands — literally

Cuphead and Mugman find that they get more than they wished for after Cuphead accidentally bargains his soul to the Devil for the sake of winning a carnival game. And with the Devil on their back, will Cuphead and Mugman ever be safe again? We can’t handle the suspense.

Fans of the video game will see their favorite characters brought to life voiced by Tru Valentino (Cuphead), Frank Todaro (Mugman), Luke Millington-Drake (the Devil), Joe Hanna (Elder Kettle), and the legendary talents of Grey Griffin (Ms. Chalice) and Wayne Brady (King Dice).

We welcome you to check out The Cuphead Show! debuting on Netflix Feb. 18.
