Sharelle Rosado knows what she wants — both in business and pleasure.
In the premiere of Selling Tampa, which follows the lives of agents working in Rosado’s upscale Tampa Bay brokerage, Allure Realty, Rosado opens up about her relationship with fiancé Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, a former NFL wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots.
“I met Chad because I was assertive!” she says. “I slid in his DMs. He posted a cute story walking across the field, and I sent some heart eyes, and he responded two seconds later.”
According to Rosado, the pair have officially been together for nine months, but have seen each other on and off for about two years. Rosado is an Army veteran and the CEO of Allure Realty, an all-Black, all-female real estate firm founded in 2019 and based in Florida. Though she lives in Tampa Bay, and Johnson resides in Miami, Rosado tells relator Tennille Moore that they see each other every three days. And even if he’s not around, he definitely celebrates her successes: Rosado reveals that Johnson buys her a Chanel purse for every closing she makes.
In the show, Rosado finds out she’s pregnant with Johnson’s child. During one scene, she FaceTimes him to break the news, and though he initially thinks she’s joking around (telling her to “put that on Jesus’ sandals”), he’s excited to learn of the new addition on the way.
“I’m really happy,” Johnson says, smiling and pumping his fist. “Woo! Turn up!”
Johnson assures Rosado that he’ll take care of the cooking, the cleaning and the changing for his “little ‘Ochouno’ — if it’s a girl, little ‘Ochocita.’” This will be his eighth child and her fourth. Rosado later revealed to People that she’s expecting a girl — so Ochocita, indeed!
“Chad is gonna make an amazing daddy because he is still youthful, and he is excited,” Rosado says. “His ass [is] hula-hooping over there. I love it!”
