Friends don’t gatekeep: Peanut Butter Boppers, Hawkins’s favorite military quarantine snack, is available for the first time since 1989 — and it’s wrapped in Stranger Things-inspired packaging to boot.
In celebration of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, Nature Valley Fudge Chip Peanut Butter Boppers is being rereleased on Dec. 3, featuring the original 1980s recipe. Fans can head to sreppob.com — Boppers spelled backwards, nerds — and snag the nostalgic treat, along with a shirt and a special recipe card in a limited-edition kit.
Featuring a creamy peanut butter center, crisp rice cereal, and fudge chips, these throwback bites will be available while supplies last. “We’re beyond excited to bring Boppers back from the 1980s and into fans’ hands one more time,” Ray Joncas, VP, Bars Business Unit at General Mills, shared in a statement.

If you miss the drop, or just want more crunchy and creamy goodness, you can snag the official recipe on NatureValley.com. And keep an eye on Nature Valley’s TikTok …there might be more tasty treats from the Upside Down to come. For additional Stranger Things-themed snacks, make sure to stock your viewing parties with limited-edition Fruit by the Foot and Totino’s Hellfire Club Spicy Pepperoni Pizza Rolls. (Eddie Munson would approve.)
