    NFL Christmas Day 2025: Netflix Reveals Announcers for Both Games

    Ian Eagle, Nate Burleson, Matt Ryan, Noah Eagle, and Drew Brees will call the holiday doubleheader.

It’s not even Halloween yet, but Netflix is already getting into the holiday spirit. NFL Christmas Gameday 2025 is coming, and we’ve got your first look at the announcers who will be calling the action for this year’s Christmas Day doubleheader.

Cowboys vs. Commanders at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT

Live from Washington DC, the Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders matchup will feature:

  • Ian Eagle (CBS Sports, The NFL Today) on play-by-play
  • Nate Burleson (former NFL wide receiver, CBS Sports analyst, CBS Mornings co-host) as booth analyst
  • Matt Ryan (former NFL quarterback, CBS Sports analyst) as booth analyst

The game will be played at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland and streamed live globally on Netflix.

Lions vs. Vikings at 4:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT

Later in the afternoon, the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings showdown streaming live from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis will be called by:

  • Noah Eagle (NBC Sports) on play-by-play
  • Drew Brees (former Super Bowl–winning quarterback) as analyst

Netflix’s NFL Christmas Gameday 2024 was a record-setting hit, reaching 65 million US viewers, according to Nielsen. The games became the two most-streamed NFL games in US history, averaging 26.5 million viewers in the US and over 30 million globally — highlighted by Beyoncé’s unforgettable halftime performance.

Where to watch NFL Christmas Gameday 2025

The 2025 Christmas Day doubleheader will stream live on Netflix in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and German. In keeping with NFL tradition, the games will also air on CBS affiliates in the competing teams’ cities and be available on NFL+ mobile devices in the US. CBS Sports will produce the broadcasts, while NFL Media will handle pre, post, and halftime programming. EverWonder Studio will serve as executive producer for NFL Christmas Gameday.
