Neymar is no stranger to the spotlight. As one of the world’s most influential athletes, the Brazilian soccer star is about to score even bigger with his new Netflix documentary series, Neymar: The Perfect Chaos. While the 29-year-old may be most well known for winning titles and the controversies that follow, the series will present a still little-known side of the athlete.
From his rise to fame in Santos to his glory days at FC Barcelona, the documentary follows the biggest moments — both the victories and setbacks — that have marked Neymar’s career. The series also reveals the marketing machine behind Neymar, which is run by his father, Neymar da Silva Santos Sr. Kris Jenner, you’ve got competition. Included are interviews with a cast of legends such as David Beckham, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, Dani Alves, Thiago Silva and more, as they assess Neymar’s historical career.
Directed by David Charles Rodrigues and executive produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, Neymar: The Perfect Chaos hits the streaming field Jan. 25.
