Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival Is Not a Joke

130 comedians will perform at 25 L.A. venues.

We’re not kidding: Netflix has announced the initial lineup for its first-ever comedy festival, Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival. From April 28 to May 8, 2022, over 130 comedians will descend upon the City of Angels, taking over 25 of its most iconic venues. Highlights include Gabriel Iglesias at Dodger Stadium, Maya Rudolph at The Belasco, Larry David at the Greek Theatre, Dave Chappelle at the Hollywood Bowl and Kevin Hart at the Staples Center (soon to be the Crypto.com Center — we know how many jokes will be made about that).

The star-studded lineup continues with David Letterman at The Fonda Theatre, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler at the YouTube Theater and Amy Schumer at the Hollywood Palladium. Wanda Sykes, Eddie Izzard and Margaret Cho will join dozens more in Stand Out: An LGBTQ+ Celebration at the Greek Theatre, and Pete Davidson will perform with his “BFFs” at The Fonda Theatre. (We’re hoping for a Kim K cameo.) And if you’re not in LA, don’t worry — select shows will be recorded and available on Netflix after the event.

Rescheduled from 2020, the festival marks a return to large-scale, in-person events. If you're like us, you’re already planning your trip. The full lineup and ticket information is available at NetflixIsAJokeFest.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Dec. 10. Check out the festival poster below, because Coachella has nothing on Netflix Is a Joke.
