The action-packed new K-drama Teach You a Lesson feels in many ways like a classic superhero tale: the villains — in this case, school bullies — are wreaking havoc among their victims, students and teachers alike. But there’s no need to call in fantastical beings; the powerful force ready to defeat these villains is the Teachers’ Rights Protection Bureau, a fictional government agency created to protect victims and restore order in various schools whenever students, teachers, or parents cross the line.

Meet the Bureau’s fearsome team: Na Hwa-jin (Kim Moo-yul) and Choi Gang-seok (Lee Sung-min) — with both actors reuniting with director Hong after their work on Juvenile Justice — along with Im Han-rim (Jin Ki-joo) and Bong Geun-dae (Pyo Ji-hoon). These highly-trained officials are also  using, let’s say, unconventional tactics to stamp out bullying for good. In short? They’re not afraid to fight back. Seriously.

The series is directed by Hong Jong-chan (Juvenile Justice, Her Private Life) and written by Lee Nam-kyu (Daily Dose of Sunshine).

Teach You a Lesson is now streaming.

Four people with ID badges stand confidently in a worn school hallway, surrounded by broken glass, promoting the Netflix series "Teach You a Lesson" with the tagline "Let Us Protect You!" and a release date of June 5.
