High schoolers Hunter (Adrian Greensmith) and BFF Kevin (Jaeden Martell) are massive metalheads on a mission: to win the upcoming Battle of the Bands. In this first look at the musically infused Metal Lords, you’ll get an eyeful (and an earful) of the latest heavy metal group to hit the scene: Skullf*cker.
In this new outing from D.B. Weiss (Game of Thrones), metal is more than a hobby for these awkward teens. For Hunter, it’s a lifestyle that helps him deal with a difficult family life. And Kevin? He’s always had trouble expressing himself. But at the Battle of the Bands, they have one shared goal: to shred like they’ve never shredded before... and, oh yeah, take first place.

There’s just one problem. No one else at school likes metal, let alone plays it. Undeterred, Hunter and Kevin take it upon themselves to start their own metal band to show the rest of the school how it’s done.
But with their classmates more into Bieber than Black Sabbath, it’s hard to find anyone else to round out their outfit. They need a bass player, bad. That’s where cello player Emily (Isis Hainsworth) comes in. With Emily on board, Skullf*cker is born.

Now that the band’s all together, it’s time to melt faces. And by “melt faces,” we mean try to convince any of their classmates that they should give screeching guitar solos and sick riffs a try. That’s gonna be more difficult than getting a bat to go to an Ozzy Osbourne concert.
Rock out with Metal Lords when this metal epic drops on April 8, only on Netflix.
