Falling in love sight unseen can be an eye-opening experience. Just look at the romances teased in the first trailer for Love Is Blind Season 9.
This season, which begins Oct. 1, 32 Denver-based daters will enter the iconic Love Is Blind pods to shake up their love lives and hopefully find their soulmate. In the Season 9 trailer, which you can watch above, some of these singles gain a new perspective on their search for the one.
“I wouldn’t have given him a chance in the outside world,” one pod squad member remarks. “But in here, I feel so comfortable.” And from behind the glowing orange wall, romantic breakthroughs are reached though deep conversations about insecurities, family planning, and even race.
But the road to the altar can be a very rocky one, as the couples attempt to go the distance outside the pods. Love triangles, opposing lifestyles or communication styles, and good old-fashioned cold feet pose some serious challenges — and heartbreak, frustration, and a ton of tears ensue. The trailer ends with a preview of the dramatic wedding days that lie ahead this season. “At the altar, the truth will come out,” one person says in the clip, as a woman seemingly crumples to the ground in her dress.
