After two long years, our national nightmare is over: The pods are back, and new singles are ready to fall in love once again, sight unseen. 

That’s right, the teaser for Love is Blind Season 2 premiered today. Vanessa and Nick Lachey are back to host the dating experiment, which is based in Chicago this season. Eleven episodes follow singles who meet their match, get engaged, go on romantic getaways and live together before their impending nuptials — which all happen within a month of their first pod conversations. Differing from many other dating shows, Love is Blind contestants fall in love and get engaged without ever seeing each other to, as the show’s synopsis says, “be loved for who they are, rather than what they look like.” 

“This experiment interests me because, you know, I don’t have boobs — and a butt!” one contestant says in the teaser. 

Unfortunately, the teaser doesn’t reveal any cast details, but it does show glimpses of all the Love is Blind hallmarks — pod conversations, oversize wine glasses and, of course, big reveals. Do we hear wedding bells? 

Last season, two couples — Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton, and Matt Barnett and Amber Pike — exchanged vows. Both couples remain together today, so let’s hope for that same energy next season.
