Season 1 of Love Is Blind gave us Lauren and Cameron. It gave us Barnett and Amber. It gave us Giannina and... Blake from The Bachelor? But it looks like Season 2 is just giving us broken hearts.
The Love Is Blind trailer dropped today, giving us a sneak peak at which singles might fall in love in the pods. This social experiment sends hopeful romantics on blind dates (literally), where they chat with prospective partners without ever seeing one another. If they choose to propose, couples go on a honeymoon to get to know each other, and then live together in an apartment before the big day.
The trailer shows the couples who seem to be finding love in the pods. One guy proposes with his mother’s engagement ring, while one woman says she “just wants to have babies with” another contestant. À la Season 1, the couples are revealed to one another via giant shadowy screens before running into each other's arms.
The trailer also hints at the problems couples face after the honeymoon phase: Someone’s mom isn’t giving her blessing, another contestant calls their partner “toxic” and there’s a mysterious clip of one woman leaving the hotel, bags packed. At this rate, who’s even going to make it down the aisle? We’ll have to see when Love Is Blind Season 2 premieres Feb. 11.
