A few years ago, a bunch of strangers decided to take a leap of faith and look for love behind a blue, glowing wall. Little did they know, however, that throughout Love Is Blind Season 1, some would not only find The One, but also a little amped-up drama, heartbreaks, adventure and even a few plot twists. Since then, the members of that very first experiment have grown –– both as couples and as individuals –– as they navigate love in the real world. So, who’s made themselves more vulnerable and open in their quest for a match? Who’s given up completely? And how are the couples who made it out doing now? Here’s what the original Pod Squad is up to today.

Lauren and Cameron just celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary.

After feeling an instant spark in the pods, the pair tied the knot and are living their happily ever after. In a recent Instagram post, Cameron shared a picture for Lauren’s birthday where he wrote, "I’m grateful for you every day, rain or shine. You light up this world.” 

Amber and Barnett are also going strong.

Ever since the couple said “I do,” Amber and Matt have continued to revel in their love and celebrate life together. “Not just a good vibe, the best vibes,” Amber shared. 

Giannina found her perfect match.

Giannina is currently in a relationship with Blake Horstmann, who appeared on The Bachelorette. “He’s also from the reality TV world, so we understand each other and genuinely want to do everything together,” Giannina tells Tudum. “He’s truly the love of my life.” The couple appeared together at the Love Is Blind Season 6 reunion to give a major update: the two are expecting a baby together. “I look a little different than you last saw me,” she tells co-host Nick Lachey at the reunion, adding that her current bliss “wouldn’t have happened without” the experiment. Giannina shares that she’s expecting a baby boy, which she hopes will “look just like [Blake],” but is keeping his name a secret for now. 

The Love Is Blind process was an intense one for Giannina, especially after then-fiancé Damian said “I do not” at the altar. When she was ready to jump back into dating after the show, she didn’t want to put too much pressure on herself. “After Love Is Blind it took me a while to reassess who I was and what I was looking for. I learned so much about what I wanted out of a long-term healthy relationship because of the show, but I decided not to put any pressure on myself,” she says. And now, she’s the happiest she’s ever been, starting her next chapter with Horstmann in his home state of Colorado. 

Kelly is single and ready to mingle.

Kelly has been on dates since her time on Love Is Blind –– where she decided she did not want to marry Kenny –– but is not currently in a relationship. “I am actively wanting to pursue the dating scene even more as we go into 2023,” Kelly tells Tudum, especially armed with all the things she learned from her season. She now believes that she has a more evolved view of relationships and dating, and is ready to meet her match.

How has she changed? “Some may say I’m even more picky now,” she says, “but I say, I just know my worth, and I am attracted to the type of guy who connects with me on a soul level.”

Carlton wishes it wasn’t so complicated…

After an explosive breakup with Diamond on Love Is Blind, Carlton has begun to put up his walls when it comes to dating. 

He’s not currently in a relationship, although he has dated since filming. “[I’m] a bit more paranoid when it comes to dating and letting down my guard,” he says. “Everyone has a different agenda and I just don’t feel it should be that complicated.”

Jessica is a married woman.

Jessica married her partner, Benjamin McGrath, in September 2022. The two met in March 2020 — “He slid into the DMs,” Jessica says at the Season 7 reunion — following her tumultuous relationship with her ex Mark, and have been together since. 

“I promise it’s worth the wait; the twists and turns and many closed doors. Going to be reliving this day for a while,” she shared in her marriage announcement on Instagram.

Though she didn’t find her love on the show, she still values the time she spent. “It’s incredible to see people finding love that way,” she tells Tudum. “At that time for me it didn’t work out, but it worked out in the very best way in the end.”

Jessica and Benjamin have since welcomed their first child, Dax.

Diamond is still looking for love.

After Love Is Blind, Diamond introduced us to her boyfriend Rumeal, who she met on a blind date, on After the Altar. The two are no longer dating and Diamond is single and thriving.

Mark is a father of two kids. 

After being left at the altar on the show, Mark found love outside of the Love Is Blind experiment. He married Aubrey Rainey in September 2022 and the pair have two children together. 

Damian is single.

After deciding to not say “I do” to Giannina on the show, the pair decided to continue dating for some time after, but eventually broke up. There were suspicions that he was dating  Francesca Farago from Too Hot to Handle Season 1 when he brought her to an After the Altar mixer but maintained that they were just friends. 

Damian is giving love another shot over on Perfect Match, a new reality show bringing Netflix's most eligible singles together for a different kind of dating experiment. 

Kenny found love in the real world.

After leaving the show single, Kenny has since found love through conventional dating. He’s married to Alexandra Garrison and though the two seem to keep to themselves, they are officially Instagram adorable.
