Starting Nov. 26, Stranger Things 5 will transport audiences to Hawkins, Indiana, in the fall of 1987, where Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and company set out to find and kill Vecna. It’s a story of heroes and villains clashing in an epic, score-settling battle not unlike something you’d see play out among WWE’s larger-than-life superstars.
So it’s appropriate that Raw’s Liv Morgan was in attendance for the Stranger Things 5 premiere on Nov. 6, where she answered questions related to the upcoming epic series conclusion and teased her eventual return to the WWE ring. Asked which WWE Superstar she thinks can take down a Demogorgon, Morgan puts her faith in Dominik Mysterio, saying she knows he could do the job. After all, as she says, “He's the WWE Intercontinental Champion and the AAA Mega Champion, he can kind of do anything.”
Though Morgan says she would rather endure the wrath of former opponents like Rhea Ripley than to be stuck in the Upside Down, she believes she’s the WWE’s version of Eleven. She says, “Every single time Eleven gets knocked down, she comes back stronger and more powerful than ever.” In fact, Eleven would be her ideal tag team partner in a WWE ring. “She is the most iconic,” Morgan says. “She’d be the best tag team partner because I wouldn’t have to lift a finger. She would do everything for me.”

When asked whether fans should expect her back in months, weeks, or perhaps even sooner, Morgan is keeping her cards close to her chest. “I think that everyone’s just going to have to watch me,” she says.
Morgan suffered a shoulder injury on the June 16 episode of Raw. She’s been sidelined ever since, but recently shared behind-the-scenes footage of her shoulder being put back in place after the dislocation.
Stranger Things 5 premieres on Netflix on Nov. 26, and WWE Raw streams live every Monday at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET.
