The Hunters and the Pride have spoken. Netflix and McDonald’s KPop Demon Hunters Battle for the Fans is done, done, done, and it resulted in a takedown.

Last month, Netflix and McDonald’s dropped the first-ever dueling adult meals. Each one was designed specifically for the fans and inspired by the bands battling it out in Netflix’s Oscar-winning animated musicalKPop Demon Hunters. Fans were invited to pick a side by ordering the Saja Boys Breakfast Meal or the HUNTR/X Meal.

After weeks of both groups’ legions of fans showing where they stand, we finally have a winner. Press play to find out the results and to see first-ever performances of “Soda Pop” by the singing voices of the Saja Boys and “How It’s Done” by the singing voices of HUNTR/X. Netflix and McDonald’s worked with the voice and singing talent of both groups to deliver this epic finale for fans in the above video.

Korean design firm KATIKØ and Sony Pictures Imageworks helped bring the battle’s stunning imagery to life. Their visuals were seen across the adult meal packaging, limited-edition photo cards, and even a billboard at the heart of the famed Times Square in New York City.

Dueling Rolling Stone covers

The battle for the fans spilled onto the pages of Rolling Stone. Two digital covers were created, one featuring HUNTR/X’s Mira and the other featuring Mystery Saja. A limited number of physical copies were available for fans at Iconic Magazines in New York.

HUNTR/X and Saja Boys–themed meals

Each McDonald’s KPop Demon Hunters adult meal featured limited-time menu items that paid homage to some of the delicious snacks that Rumi, Mira, and Zoey eat throughout the film.

The meals were specially designed to feel authentic to the film. They featured specific details that were truly for the fans, from the boxes themselves to the hidden messages and signatures from the film’s familiar characters. No matter what side you’re on, there was something for everyone inside.
