If the title of her new comedy special is any indication, Iliza Shlesinger plans to be Hot Forever

Shlesinger’s latest Netflix special launches Oct.11, and is full of the Last Comic Standing winner’s musings on ugly bras and the truly ridiculous lack of adult men who think enough of themselves to own a box spring. (Seriously. What’s up with that? Buy box springs! Buy headboards! We can do this, people!)

In a statement about Hot Forever,  Shlesinger said, “I’m so incredibly proud of this special. It’s bold, it’s real — you’ll never look at a bra the same way again… Also, my outfit is awesome.” In the trailer for the new special, Schlesinger waxes poetic about said bras, “remembering” Abercrombie and the perils of having big boobs. “‘Oh, you’ve got big boobs, is that hard?’ Well, it fucking is! They gaslight you!” Schlesinger yells.

Hot Forever was filmed at the Connor Palace in Cleveland and is Shlesinger’s sixth comedy special for Netflix. Previous entries into the canon included 2019’s Unveiled (2019), Elder Millennial (2018) Confirmed Kills (2016), Freezing Hot (2015) and War Paint (2013). Shlesinger also launched an eponymous sketch show,The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show, on the service in 2020. Stay tuned for more hot Iliza news in October.
