    I Suck at Girls: Anna Konkle, Taegen Burns, and More Join the Cast

    The comedy series, now in production, is based on the autobiography of Abbott Elementary’s Justin Halpern.

Anna Konkle and Taegen Burns are heading back to high school with the new comedy I Suck at Girls. The series takes inspiration from the autobiography of the same name by its Emmy-nominated showrunner, Justin Halpern (Abbott ElementaryHarley Quinn, Surviving Jack). The New York Times bestselling author shares showrunner, writer, and executive producer duties with Patrick Schumacker (Abbott ElementaryHarley Quinn, Surviving Jack) for Delicious Non-Sequitur Productions. 

“I’m incredibly excited to make a show that can hopefully capture the funny, emotional, and oftentimes humiliating experience of growing up, as opposed to just the emotional and humiliating experience of my life as an adult,” Halpern says.
