Obsessed with the emo vibes of Hype House? Find yourself wanting to go to LIL HUDDY’s season finale concert? Well, we have good news: The show’s official playlist just dropped.
"In honor of the Season 1 launch, the creative team behind Hype House has curated an official playlist, now available on the Netflix Spotify Hub. It includes songs featured in the show, as well as original music from cast members like LIL HUDDY, Alex Warren and Larray.
“It’s so cool to have my music on the official Hype House Spotify Playlist — I love when both of my worlds collide!” Warren says. “Hope the fans enjoy listening after they watch the series to get another glimpse into my life.”
Music becomes quite the plotline on Hype House. Chase Hudson, aka LIL HUDDY, moves out of the house to focus on his career as a musician, which causes a rift between him and the group. But — spoiler alert — by the end of the show, they come back together to support one another, as well as Hudson’s musical debut.
All that hard work has paid off — now billed as “pop-punk’s heir apparent,” LIL HUDDY’s debut single “21st Century Vampire” has nearly 20 million plays on Spotify. In September, he released his debut album Teenage Heartbreak, collaborating with pop-punk heavyweights like Travis Barker and The All-American Rejects’ Tyson Ritter. And recently, he’s released snippets of a new song called “Addicted to You,” promising that he’ll be back in the studio in 2022.
Larray has also released a slew of singles, one of which — “Canceled” — is featured on the Hype House playlist. The 2020 diss track has garnered over 88 million views on YouTube and takes aim at pretty much everyone online, from Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star to the Hype House itself. But Larray starred in the show after the song dropped, so there are obviously no hard feelings.
And Warren has dropped three songs so far — “One More I Love You,” “Screaming Underwater” and, on Dec. 17, 2021, “Remember Me Happy.” This last song and music video focus on the recent death of his mother.
“Making this music has been an outlet for me to be able to get all my grief and feelings out in a way that I think helps people,” he wrote in the video’s description.
