Do you love rom-coms but wish you had a hand in how the happily-ever-after goes down? Well, look no further than Choose Love, an interactive romantic comedy from director Stuart McDonald (A Perfect Pairing, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) and writer Josann McGibbon (Runaway Bride, Descendants), where viewers get to decide the ending.
The film — which joins the ranks of Netflix’s other interactive titles Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, Cat Burglar, Headspace: Unwind Your Mind, and Trivia Quest — centers around Cami, a recording engineer who seems to have everything: a dream job, a steady boyfriend, and a bright future. But things have turned out a bit different than she planned. As she reassesses her life, Cami’s fate is entirely up to you — from choosing a new career path to rethinking her relationships.

Stream it on Netflix on Aug. 31.
Cami feels like she’s missing out on life, but she isn’t quite sure how. Maybe she’s afraid of settling down for good with her boyfriend, Paul. Or perhaps she regrets abandoning the singing career she’d always dreamed of. What if Paul isn’t meant to be her forever? What if Rex, the Brit musician, is? And what about Jack, the proverbial “one who got away,” who’s now suddenly back in the picture? As Cami faces an array of choices ranging from the seemingly innocuous to some major ethical dilemmas, viewers help her decide exactly what to do. The result? A bunch of possible storylines and endings, depending on what you pick.
Choose Love is an interactive title, which means you control what happens in the story by making choices for the characters. You’ll be able to view this title on many newer devices, including newer smart TVs, streaming media players (Roku, Fire TV Stick), game consoles, browsers on your laptop/desktop via Netflix.com, and iOS or Android devices running the latest version of the Netflix app. Use your remote, gaming controller, mouse, or finger to make choices as the story unfolds.
If your device supports interactive titles, you’ll see the interactivity “spark” badge displayed on the bottom of the title.
If you don’t see the spark badge on the image of Choose Love when you open the Netflix app, or if you see a video telling you that your device isn’t supported, it means you’ll need to access the title on a different device. If you have more than one device linked to your account, try logging in to Netflix and viewing this title on another device. (Note that interactive titles do not work on Chromecast or Apple TV.)
