A brand-new poster for 1899 hints at the mystery at the core of the upcoming thriller drama.

Take a very close look at the artwork below:

In the poster, you can see Maura Franklin (Emily Beecham) falling into the ocean — or is she rising into the sky?

Maura is flanked by two ships — one is the Kerberos, on which she is a passenger — and another vessel. Is the second ship a reflection of the Kerberos or something else?

And what about the triangle created by the different angles and behind the logo? There’s the popular maritime myth of the Bermuda Triangle, where ships are lost and never found. Does the Bermuda Triangle have any role in 1899?
