[Ria] It's so wild.

[Madelyn] That is insane. It's sweet that y'all did this.

[easygoing rock music plays]

We got a yearbook.

Let's do it. 2020 to 2026. That's like if you failed two years of high school.

[Ria] How does it feel for you to open up this book? It's pretty wild. I think this was the first day on set with this little bass guitar. And my first reaction was like, "Is John B. a bass guy or a six-string?" Maybe he'd be a… Of, like, an actual guitar, but… That's only a question you'd know. I immediately was like, "I think we need an actual guitar." And they were like, "It's too late. Set Dec set it."

"We're too far into it."

[Ria] This is him. But yeah, we all had cameras and that was like a really cool component of the first season. We were all just snapping photos and they all weirdly ended up in the show too, which was cool. This photo, like, it was like peak pandemic. The craziest part was, like, this day, and what you don't see is directly in front of us and all around us was thousands of people. We were like, "Oh shit, like, the show works."

Yeah.

Like, we're seeing it in person finally. It's sweet that y'all did this.

[Ria laughs]

[Madelyn] Oh God. Okay. What's the "Oh God" to? Can we say? The swamp day. That was cold. It was like, there was like frost on the ground and we were in the water with that fake rotisserie alligator. Dedication. We were in that spot for three days and those were probably like top three hardest experiences on this show. This pic of me and Madison is from our very first week of filming ever in Beaufort when we were doing the Boneyard…

Yes.

…bonfire.

[Ria exclaims] Our party scene. Maybe it wasn't our very first week of filming. Maybe it was my first week of filming. I think they had already been filming for three weeks, but we were at the Mexican restaurant across the way from our hotel drinking margaritas because I had just turned 21. Right. Like, "We can have a drink." I think this was the day they finally had, like, we had all officially gotten our roles.

I got those shorts from Urban Outfitters.

[Ria laughs] What was I thinking? A sign of the times. A sign of the times. And that was when we found out that that would be the Pogue. That was before it was painted. That was before. It was when it was like freshly… They had just gotten it. We were like, "We have a boat." This is when Madison and I lived in the same apartment for the first month-ish of filming.

[Ria] What was that like? It was really fun to, you know, it was like girls.

We were roommates.

Right, having fun. Yeah, we were just being girls. I love our little spa day picture.

[Ria] Oh, love that.

[Jonathan] That was our first time in the spa. I had never, uh, been to a spa.

[Ria] Mm-hmm. Get the massage. Facial.

[Jonathan] I've never done that ever in my life.

The robes.

We were all offered the mimosas.

[both laugh] When they offer you mimosas, you're like, "We're taking those." I was like, what's a mimosa? I've never had a mimosa. Like, yeah, whatever. This is, um, at Heyward's Shack.

[Ria] So cute.

[Carlacia] This is in Barbados. This is, like, before our, um, one of our photo shoots we had to do. Um, we took that, like, one of the first days we got there. That's amazing how many places you guys have visited as well, right? Yeah. Were you able to soak it all in or did it feel like it just moved so fast? No, I soaked it all in. Like, I'm one of the travelers, like, of the group. Like, I'll be quick to plan a trip. I'm going here. I'm doing that. So I always, like, soak up, like, the time. And while you're on the trip, you're planning the next trip.

[Carlacia] I'm planning the next one.

I'm with you. Yeah, like I'm always like, okay, let's… let's make the best. Let's find the best restaurants. These are pictures I haven't seen in so long or ever. The Chateau pictures. I mean, anytime I see a picture of the Chateau, it's sad. Like that location is… I'm so glad that we got to go back there at the end of this season, like… That was an emotional day for all of us. Why was it emotional? Just, we haven't been at that location… When did Topper burn the house? Season three. Yeah. We haven't been there in, like, two seasons.

So it was, like, bittersweet.

Mmhmm. I've never seen this picture of me and Chase.

[Ria] Oh my God. That's such a cute picture. Is there a moment from shooting the series and looking at these pictures that really brings you back? Yeah, honestly, this picture of me and Chase.

[Ria] I love that picture. Everyone, like, looks so young. We were babies. But you guys all look the same, but it's just that you don't even know what you're gonna go through yet.

Yeah, at all.
