Wednesday Addams doesn’t believe in happy endings — only haunting ones. The final four episodes of Wednesday Season 2, Part 2, arrive on Netflix Sept. 3, and we’ve uncovered a few more clues pointing to a chilling finale.

We’ve got your first peek at the credits and delightfully woeful titles of the second season’s final four episodes, plus some eerie new photos, which you can check out below. Let the sleuthing begin.

In the first half of Season 2, Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) loses her psychic abilities and has to rely on her detective instincts to investigate a mysterious, hooded Avian connected to a string of outcast deaths. Her search leads her to Willow Hill Psychiatric Facility, where she discovers the LOIS program — a twisted experiment that keeps supposedly dead outcasts alive as test subjects. Wednesday soon learns the true culprit is Judi Spannagel (Heather Matarazzo). The midseason finale ends in chaos: Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan) kills his former master, Marilyn Thornhill, and Wednesday’s fate is left uncertain after she’s thrown from a window.

Co-creators and showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar always intended to split the season into two compelling chapters. Millar explains to Tudum, “We felt that if we were going to split the season, then the end of the fourth episode needed to be something amazing; a cliffhanger to bring the audience back for the next chapter. That was an exciting challenge.”

Gough adds, “At the end of Episode 4, Wednesday literally lets the lunatics out of the asylum, and the rest of the season is: ‘Now you have to deal with that …’ She solved one mystery and has unleashed a Pandora’s box of new problems.”
