At long last, Top Boy Season 2 is right around the corner. The critically acclaimed British crime series will return to Netflix on March 18 with eight new episodes following the trials and tribulations of Dushane (Ashley Walters), an East London drug dealer determined to maintain his position at the top of the food chain of the fictional Summerhill Estates.

After a struggle for dominance in Season 1, Top Boy Season 2 finds Dushane reveling in his power grab and the money that comes with it. He’s never been more prosperous or, it seems, more generous, going so far as to seek a partnership with Jamie (Micheal Ward), his former rival. 

“D’you want to be a part of it or what?” Dushane asks a poker-faced Jamie in the trailer. But like the old saying goes, more money, more problems, and Dushane soon finds that everything he built is dangerously close to falling apart. 

Executive produced by heavy hitters Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, Maverick Carter and Jamal Henderson, Netflix’s Top Boy is as much a series about London’s dark underbelly as it is about family, community, and the risks and rewards of loyalty. Check out the pulse-pounding trailer for Season 2 below.
