What happens when one person in a relationship wants to take the plunge into true commitment and the other is only prepared to dip a toe? Sounds like it’s time to test out new romantic waters. Another group of couples will do just that when The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On returns for Season 4.

Like in seasons past, six couples who aren’t on the same page about marriage will enter the dating experiment. An ultimatum is issued, and over the next eight weeks, each pair must decide if they’ll walk down the aisle or walk away from the relationship once and for all. 

To figure out what’s next for their partnership, they’ll temporarily split up, then recouple with one of the other Season 4 participants. Will they end up back together, go their separate ways, or find a happily ever after with someone new? Hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey will return for the 10-episode season to help guide the couples — in all their iterations — through the confusion, conflict, and connections that are sure to arise.
