Mark your calendars and flip your hourglasses. The Sandman is coming.

The live-action adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s groundbreaking comic book debuts in four weeks, and Tudum has never-before-seen photos of some of the series’ cast.

Of course, there’s The Sandman, aka Dream himself, Tom Sturridge. He’s joined by Vivienne Acheampong, who plays the loyal Lucienne (Lucien in the comics), the librarian of The Dreaming (the realm that Dream rules). Newcomer Vanesu Samunyai plays Rose Walker, a seemingly unremarkable 21-year-old. Then there’s Boyd Holbrook, who plays The Corinthian, a nightmarish figure who has mouths where his eyes should be (but thankfully baby blues in real life). Rounding out the group is Jenna Coleman, who plays demon hunter Johanna Constantine. And of course, the man who created it all, Neil Gaiman himself.

During Netflix’s Geeked Week in June, Samunyai and Coleman revealed that they’d never met. Such is the massive world of The Sandman, which takes viewers on a journey across different times and locations, including The Dreaming and contemporary London.

Check out the photos in the gallery below, and be sure to catch The Sandman when it premieres Aug. 5.
