From stars Eddie Redmayne and Jessica Chastain to director Tobias Lindholm, the good and bad nurses of The Good Nurse descended into the Big Apple last night. The stars of the new Netflix drama took Manhattan by storm at the film’s red carpet premiere. Check out how they looked outside of their scrubs in the photo slideshow below.
The Good Nurse tells the true story of Charles Cullen (Redmayne), a New Jersey nurse who hid a secret identity as possibly the most prolific serial killer in history. Chastain plays his colleague and friend, Amy Loughren, who eventually helped authorities bring him to justice. Behind the scenes, fortunately, things were much less tense. “Thank God it was wonderful! If it hadn’t been, it could be friendship-ending,” Redmayne told us with a laugh at the Toronto International Film Festival, where the film first premiered. Friendship preserved — at least off-camera.
You can see Redmayne and Chastain at odds when The Good Nurse hits select theaters around the US on Oct. 19 and Netflix on Oct. 26.
