Call your oldest, closest friends, because it’s almost time to head back to Serenity, South Carolina. The trailer for Sweet Magnolias’ second season promises even more tears, hugs and swoons — basically, you’re going to need an even bigger pitcher of margaritas for this one.

As we head into Season 2, all three Magnolias have some romantic decisions to make. When we last saw Maddie (JoAnna Garcia Swisher), she’d parted ways with Coach Cal (Justin Bruening) and was considering a reconciliation with her ex-husband, Bill (Chris Klein), who had just split from his pregnant girlfriend, Noreen (Jamie Lynn Spears). But, according to the trailer, Maddie and Cal’s story isn’t over yet — and neither is Bill and Noreen’s.

“When are you going to start taking responsibility for the havoc that you wreak in people’s lives?” Maddie asks her ex, over a clip of Noreen watching Bill cradle their newborn baby. (The answer is probably never. Stay away, Noreen!)

Meanwhile, Helen (Heather Headley) is getting closer and closer to sous-chef Erik (Dion Johnstone), and by the looks of all those kisses and lingering glances, their slow-burn romance is finally heating up. Finally, there’s Dana Sue (Brooke Elliott), who’s torn between her ex, Ronnie (Brandon Quinn), and rugged farmer Jeremy (Chase Anderson).

But, not to worry; there’s much more drama to unpack this season. We’ll finally learn more about what happened when Maddie’s son Kyle (Logan Allen) stole his brother’s car and crashed it in the Season 1 finale. Dana Sue’s employee, Isaac (Chris Medlin), is also still set on finding his birth parents. “I just want to know whose eyes are staring back at me every single time I look in the mirror,” he admits between tears.

Again, you’ll need some Dana Sue-style comfort food and strong cocktails — and, more important, your girlies — when Season 2 drops on Feb. 4.
